Stefan's P.O.V.

I'm at Jeremy's locker talking about the vervain, the bracelet Elena gave him, the ring,... everything. He needs to know those stuffs so he can defends himself against Katherine or whoever attacks him.

- It's the same as the bracelet Elena gave you, I say giving a little flask full of vervain to Elena's brother.

- It protects me from compulsion, replies Jeremy as he smells it. He grimaces at the smell of it.

- Vervain is toxic to vampires.

- Like poison?

- Yeah, it's very poisonous. It keeps them out of your head.

- But why vervain?

- I don't know, certain natural herbs and roots and other elements are just harmful to vampires, I explain him as I lean against the locker.

- Like a stake to the heart?

- Right but it has to be wood.

- You're pretty confident in yourself telling me all the different ways I could kill you, smirks Jeremy which makes me smile, amused by him. I cross my arms over my chest.
