waking up without a memory

chapter 27

My body trembles as i stand in front of the old factory in soaking wet clothes. I couldn't stop my teeth from chattering. Nancy whimpered beside me, i know she couldn't handle the coldness. I thought she might die by how pale her face was. I tried to be strong because of my mom. She saved my life for a reason and i will not let anyone take that away from me.

Earlier this morning we were all woken by the guards spurring water from an hoarse all over us. This is why now we are standing soaking wet in the early cold morning waiting to see what is inhold for us. 

"I see your are all awake." Master jock rough voice said with a chuckle. "Did you like your morning surprise?" I held up my head looking as he approach us with a huge smile plaster across his face as if he gets enjoyment seeing us crumble beneath his foot.

I took a deep breath when our eyes connect to each other. his smile grew larger and a devious glint flash across his eyes. He started to approach me with rapid steps. I close my eyes and took deep breath waiting to feel his cold long fingers wrap around my neck. I open my eyes when i didn't feel anything, but the look in his eyes is worst than him squeezing my throat. It showed danger, vengeance and worst it shows death. I couldn't look in his dark hole of dark hole of a eye.

A chuckle left his mouth causing me to look back up. " Darling, you will be begging me for death when am done with you." I watched as his mouth move as every words flows out. I know then that every word he just spoke he means it. I couldn't manage me wobbling foot any more, so i fell to my knees. My belly rumbles with noises from the lock of food for two days. My body was drain from everything. I had nothing left, nothing!

I watched as his feet as they turn around and walk a distance away from me. Right at that moment i felt Aaron, rushing to me on his knees  grasping me in his hands.
"I wanted to come to you so bad." He whispered in my ears. I told Aaron last night that i didn't want him getting hurt, so he must no try to help me when something is happening to me. But really the only thing i want is him wrapping me in his arms protecting me from all danger.

"Bring them out!" I was cut from my thoughts with jocks demanding voice. I heard the sound of keys slapping against metal and a opening sound. I watched in slow motion as john and Annie approach from the corner of the building chain together. Annie was not the confident girl i first meet and John wasn't buff again. I could see their ribs showing through their torn clothes. My heart fell when i see them falling to the ground. Their body too weak to have them walking. What has he done to them. I felt Aaron tense behind me, so he must have seen them.

Slash! A loud groan escape john and Annie mouth as the man behind them whipped both of them at once. A loud scream escape my mouth as i saw that went across his now bony face.

"Stand up now!" The man with the whip barked. I watched as john tried to stand but the weakness of his body fails his attempt.  The man brought back the whip above his head ready to strick again. I waited for it to happen but not did. Everyone eyes was focus on me now. I didn't realize that i had screamed out john names and telling them to stop.

"Sarah your only going to make things worst for them, just stop talking." Aaron grumbles in my ears.

"Well well, it seems like you know this man" jock said walking over to me. I didn't answer him i just kept my eyes lock on john. He seems surprise seeing me. A little smile tried to form on his face but was wipe away by pain when the man started to drag them closer.

"What should we do with them now boss?" The man with the whip ask referring to Annie and john.

"Whi-- i cut of jock from giving his men commands by pleading.
"Please just don't beat them anymore. Do me instead, just don't, please." I felt Aaron hand grip around me got tighter. "Don't do this to yourself, please." He said with a pleading voice. I heard nancy started to sob harder as we continue to talk.

"Sure, this will even be much more fun." Jock said looking at me with a smirk. Relief wash around me when i know no harm will occur to john now.

"Please don't do this, Sarah. Nancy started to cry louder gripping on to my sweater. I was out of both Aaron and Nancy's hands by jock.

I looked at john and Anne but the only expression they had was fear. As if they knew something i didn't. I watched as  john mouth open and closed as of he wanted to say something.

"Guys go start a big fire, we will be roasting some meat."  A chorus of laughter erupt from the crowd of men.  I didn't understand what they were saying but i knew it was something bad when i saw tears start to rush down Annie's face. 

"Your going to be so sorry that you did this." Jock whispered in my ears then he started to laugh like a maniac. "Tie her up!" He demands to one of his men. The man then roughly grab me by the back of the neck, pushing my hands through a hole then tying them together.

The fire was now brought to life. The heat of it was starting to soak through my wet clothes bringing heat to my body. This was it. I am going to help someone that i cared about and their was no turning back. I could feel the side of my head burning with Aarons eyes watching me, but i would not dare look at him. I know he was angry with me for doing this but i cant help it. I gasp leave my mouth when i felt the cold blade of a knife touching my back. I tried to look around but couldn't. The back of my sweater was torn right down exposing my skin. I took a deep breath knowing that their was no backing out now.

"Its ready now boss."

"Then what are you waiting on, put them in." My body froze when i heard the words that jock just said. I looked at john only to see him holding down his head from me. This cant be real. No no no no!

What have i done. The men jerk them from sitting on the ground, pulling them over to the fire.
"No you cant d-----. My words was cut short when i felt the long whip slapping across my back. Everything slows down. I tried to get air in my longs but it couldn't happen. I felt my skin tearing apart and blood trickling down my back.

"Isn't this just better than what i have planned before?"  Jock asked laughing.

"No Sarah, let her go" i heard Aaron screaming running towards me. I saw him fighting against the men but their was too much. Nancy, run up trying to help. I wanted to scream at her to stay back but i couldn't.

"Whip them too!"  Jock barked out at the men beating Aaron and holding down nancy. I wanted to scream. Beg them to let them go but i couldn't. Nothing came out my mouth. The only sound i could hear was the whip slapping across my back again. And the crying of nancy, and Aaron voice as they felt the pain of the whip digging into their skin.

Push them in the fire! Whip them harder! Those words chants around in my head over and over. Time slowed down when more when i witness john getting his body thrown in the fire. Tears run down my cheeks when i heard his screaming from his skin melting. Annie turn around to run but was caught by the same man.  He raise her up in his arms and her body was town in the fire..

I didn't feel any pain in my back again, the only thing i felt was sadness and hurt knowing that am the one that cause them to die. I couldn't handle the guilt anymore. My body slumps against the the board thing my hands were in.

I saw simon walking down towards us and a look if horror came over his face when he saw nancy Aston and i getting beaten.

"Come son, whip them." Simon began to shake his head while stepping back words. He spun around starting to let out his stomach on the ground.

I tried to stay awake but my body was too tired. The last thing i heard before i block out was jock saying he knew simon was always a pussy.

I cant tell or explain how this chapter was hard to write. But i did it write.
