waking up without a memory

chapter 20

Hey guys. So yesterday i wrote a chapter for you, and when i went in back to upload it....... It was gone. Disappear in thin air. So now this is all i could remember from what i wrote. Hope you enjoy.

My heart rate spreads up as i heard the scream. Something about it scent thrills throughout my body. Everyone started running towards the tent that the sound came from and the only thing i could do was stand and stare. My mind was telling me to go but my body wouldn't move. I feared what i would see inside, but its seems as if something is pulling me forward. I didn't no that i was moving towards the tent until i heard simon calling out my name.

"Sarah wait for me, you cannot put too much pressure on your leg." i turned around and saw simon,Aaron and his sister approaching me.

"I just want to see what is happening." I said with my voice trembling.

"Why are you shivering?" Simon asked with concern. i didn't get to answer because at that same moment someone called for simon. He held me around the waist to help take pressure of my ankle.

When we approach the tent everyone was crowded around something on the ground. They were all saying that the disease is taking over her body. The closer i got it felt like someone was pulling at my heart strings. The screaming got louder and louder just as my heart beat.

"Simon, you need to take a look at jenny. She is getting worst.

Simon and i walk through the crowd, i looked down then my eye meet contact with the woman on the ground. The whole place feel silent for me. The screaming stop and the only thing i could do was stare. My body became stiff and i tried to breath but nothing happen.

SARAH!!!!! She screamed trying to get up but fail to do so.

Sarah.... Sarah... Sarah.

"How was school today honey."

"It was great i meet a new friend today. She was amazing.

That cake was amazing mom.

I know, i put my secret ingredients in it.

Mind sharing it with me, mother.

Mom, can i ask you something?

You just did, but go ahead.

I over heard you saying dad killed my brother. Is it true.

Sarah... Sarah

Sarah! I looked at my mom on the ground with blood running from her eyes. Tears started to pure from my eyes why i fall to my knees clenching my chest.

"Mom?" I heard everyone gasp around me but the only person i could see was my mother dying on the ground.

"Sarah... I..i love.. You." She said through clench teeth, with blood running from her eyes also.

The only thing i could say before her eyes closed was i love you too. 

I heard everyone whispering around me about what just happened but i block it out. I looked up to see Aaron staring at me with no emotion in his eyes.  I looked back down on the ground trying to accept what just happen but i couldn't. I needed fresh air or else i was going to block out my the heat surrounding me.   I tried to get up with the crutches, but end up stumbling a bit. Simon was starting to run towards me but i held up my hand to stop him.

"I just want to be by myself." i said Turing around to leave. I just couldn't be around anyone now. I know that simon cared for me but he cannot help me with this situation. I tried to give him a reassuring smile but it ends up looking like a frown. I turned around and walk away from everyone staring at me in dumbstruck. When i stepped outside it was already dark. I know one place that could clear my mind, so i start making my way down the path of the river.  

That's what i did. I went down the river and think about everything that just happen. That's what i needed, a time to think and clear my head.
