Eyes That Now See

The mirror of souls replaced my eyes
The vision I see was unpleasant as can ever be
Truths and words and woes were lies
Ignorance was shown in a fully tolerant liberal creed

Fools blabber
Their tongues do not stop and they scream to get their oxymoronic point across

Wise men set not the fools rightly
For their ears are mere aesthetics
A right man they treat not too kindly
For they are hypocritical lunatics

Kingdoms crumble
The men shout to the heavens for an answer
Do you not know?
Has it not been written?
Why are you taken aback?

Accusations they bring to the table
All were lies and exaggeration - more than just a slight
And just as Cain killed his brother Able
So shall fools seek the demise of the upright

Fools deny His existence
He is the Prince of Peace
Who divides the sheep from the goats
The appointer of the lights of the world
Such light reveals all
Fools detest it and seek refuge in darknes
"For their deeds can be kept out of mind and of sight"

Signs they desire and have received
Unfitting to human expectations, they waited for what has happened
The secrets of heaven concealed
Yet many understood not as their hearts were stiffened and blackened
