Chapter 24

"Hyejung?", Mrs.Bi exclaimed as soon as she opened the door. "Hello mom, I'm here, to stay, forever, with my best parents", Hyejung replied with a soft smile. All four of them entered the house as Mr and Mrs.Bi welcomes with open hearts. Not too long before Mrs.Bi noticed Yolanda's hands bruised.

"Hye..I mean Yolanda, what happened to your hand, dear?" - Mrs.Bi
"Daughter, what happened?" - Mr.Bi
"Mom, dad, let's not be awkward. Just call me Hyejung, that's my real name after all. It's way bettee than a Yolanda anyway. And about my hand, it's nothing to worry both of you" - Hyejung
"She's lying. That insensitive lady she was living with all this time did that to her because she tried explaining to her everything nicely" - Haerin
"Ya! Why'd you tell" - Hyejung
"You asked not to be awkward and you're planning to hide from us? Let me take a look at it" - Mrs.Bi, she nagged and reached out to Hyejung's hand to take a better look at it.
"Mom, it's fine now. I'm hungry, can I have food please" - Hyejung
"Aigoo ahahaha, that's more like my daughter now. But I'm not gonna let go so easily, the fact that she had the audacity to touch my daughter" - Mr.Bi
"Dad please, let go. For me, please. Leave it?" - Hyejung
"But.." - Mr.Bi
"No buts. Please" - Hyejung
"Fine fine, let's go eat" - Mr.Bi

Jaehyun and Taeyong was just standing aside awkwardly and quietly listening to Hyejung and her parents talking. They got seated for dinner as Mrs.Bi prepared.

"I've seen you both a lot on TV" - Mr.Bi, pointing at Taeyong and Jaehyun
"Ofcourse, you have, uncle. They're from NCT, they're idols under SM Entertainment" - Haerin
"Aah, no wonder you guys are so handsome, I thought so anyway" - Mrs.Bi
"You guys are close with Taeyeon? I'm a huge fan" - Mr.Bi
Jaehyun and Taeyong both just sheepishly smiled at it as they can't help notice Hyejung's father's excitement.
"Yeah, she's our senior. She is very nice, we have met her a couple of times within the company" - Jaehyun
"Get me her autograph, son!" - Mr.Bi
"Ya! Grow up, you're old and married!" -Mrs.Bi
"Stop being jealous, just because I'm old and married I'm not allowed to be a fan?" - Mr.Bi
"Mom, dad, you both are hilarious" - Hyejung, laughing so much at how hilariously they were arguing, and all of them as well.
"Uncle, Aunty. You should ask Hyejung about her love life" - Haerin
"Yaaa! Shut up!" - Hyejung screamed at her sister immediately and Jaehyun was quick to blush like a girl at Haerin's comment. Hyejung's parents noticed it right away.
"It must be this young man right here who's blushing like a girl, right Hyejung?" - Mr.Bi
"You're right" - Haerin
"Aigoo, handsome. So handsome. My son-in-law!" - Mrs.Bi
"MOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM" - Hyejung shouted. Both Hyejung and Jaehyun were turning into tomatoes as Haerin, Mr. and Mrs.Bi along with Taeyong continued laughing at their reactions.
"Ya, if you're dating my daughter, you better never hurt her okay? We might have been away from her but she'll always be our precious darling daughter and now that she's back after two years it's a given that we'd care much more" - Mr.Bi
"Dad..stop. I'm embarrassed now" - Hyejung, blushing all too hard.
"It's okay, sir. I'd never hurt her, I'll take care of her the best I could ever!" - Jaehyun

As they were all smiles, the door rang again, all of a sudden distracting all of them. "Who is it at this hour?", Mrs.Bi muttered as she walked to the door. To all of their much disappointed surprise it was Mrs.Pali and police.

"What the hell. She came in here with police?" - Haerin
"What the actual hell" - Hyejung muttered as she walked to the door. All of them standing up from their seat, too shocked, Mr.Bi also joined her wife at the door.
"What brings you here?" - Mrs.Bi
"Well, this lady right here, claims to be a girl named Yolanda's mother who also set charges of both of you kidnapping her daughter" - Police
"What?! That's bull crap. First of all, I'm not her daughter. Second of all, they did not kidnap me, I'm here on my own because they're my real parents. This lady you came with is an insensitive liar who tried to abuse me as you can see on my hand" - Hyejung
"Stop lying, you're too highly influenced by these fucked up idols" - Mrs.Pali
"You're the 'fucked up' one here, lady" - Hyejung
"Stop. Since it's already reported, we can't let you stay here until we check your birth records and everything" - Police
"My birth records..well I'm an orphan so I got adopted by Mr. and Mrs.Bi when I was four. They're my legal parents. You can check it from the orphanage I used to stay. I'm also 18years old now, of legal age in Korea and I have all my rights to stay anywhere I want" - Hyejung
"You can stay, alright, but we will be back after checking the orphanage if these people legally adopted you. We can't confirm who's being honest right now" - Police

Police left by after telling what was required. Mrs.Pali stayed back.
"You think you can escape after all the money you've spent from us staying as our child for the past years, you bitch" - Mrs.Pali
"That's enough of your shit. Leave before I call police for violating someone's personal life, say one more word at her and I'm calling, as I'm an idol, you know, I get treated well by the government as well" - Jaehyun, stepped forward before any of them could say a word, leaving Mrs.Pali speechless.
"You worked your charms on him as well? Or you got brainwashed? God knows what you must have done with him or he must have done to you, you gold digger! I won't ever let you live in peace!" - Mrs.Pali

Mr.Bi just shut the word without a word at her face as he was too angry, he realized Mrs.Bi would end up doing something way worse if he does not do it.
"I was about to hit her, for real!" - Mrs.Bi
"Exactly why I closed. It's better to not react to her words. She can't do anything, she can do no harm to our daughter. All of us, together will protect her" - Mr.Bi
"Thanks Mom and Dad!" - Hyejung, gloom obvious in her tone, she turned to Jaehyun to say thanks as well.

Haerin just hugged Hyejung as she realized she was not okay with all the words she was targeted with. Mr and Mrs.Bi left to room after consoling her the most with the four of them alone as they realized that's what she needed the most right now.
"It's okay, you know she's just bitter and you're none of any she called you" - Taeyong
"Yeah, but it hurts. I respected them, loved them, I did not want things to go this way" - Hyejung
"You can't blame yourself for someone else's attitude" - Jaehyun
"Unnie, it's getting so late. Why don't you sleep here tonight with me?" - Hyejung
"Ani, I can't. I've early morning training, maybe -!another day. I should get going, please take care babo. Don't get upset about some snake's words. Always keep texting me, I'll come tomorrow as soon as I finish my training, okay" - Haerin
"I'll walk you home" - Taeyong
"Oooh waaau, cute cute!" - Hyejung, took the obvious opportunity to tease both of them
"Stop" - Haerin, blushing
"Even Taeyong oppa is blushing, this is so cute!" - Hyejung
"Yaa! You're the one who blushes at everything" - Taeyong
"Why do you call him oppa and not me?" - Jaehyun
"Because I can!" - Hyejung
"You guys are cute! Jaehyun, are you joining us or are you coming later?" - Taeyong
"I'll go after a while, you take her home! Yolajung, let's go for a walk nearby?" - Jaehyun
"What on earth is Yolajung now?" - Hyejung

All four of them got out together, Hyejung took the key Mrs.Bi left for her in case she was going out as she was gonna be upstairs preparing Hyejung's room for her. Taeyong and Haerin left the other way to head back to their place. On the other hand, Hyejung and Jaehyun decided to walk to beach which was in 10minutes walking distance. They were walking hand-in-hand with each other, both of them covering their faces with a mask.

"You know, 10minutes of walking back and forth is not walking nearby?" - Hyejung
"Good discovery, smartie pants! - Jaehyun, teased her.
"Hopeless" - Hyejung
"You made me hopelessly crazy about you" - Jaehyun
"Ugh! You corny ass human!" - Hyejung
"I know you like it, Yolajung!" - Jaehyun

Their walk continued with them continuously teasing each other about everything, pinching each other's cheeks, messing up hair until they reached the beach.

"It's so beautiful! I used to go the beach a lot back in States!" - Hyejung
"Oh yeah? With who? One time beach with me will be better than all the other times you went, I'm sure!" - Jaehyun
"You wish. Nice confidence though!" - Hyejung
"It's the truth!" - Jaehyun

They sat on the beach, staring at the stars, talking and teasing about various topics, time passed by unknown.
"Look at those stars, the most beautiful scene, always!" - Hyejung
"Nop. I disagree!" - Jaehyun
"Oh yeah? What else is more beautiful?" - Hyejung
"Clueless idiot. You're much more beautiful than any of this" - Jaehyun, as he led his face closer to hers. Hyejung being Hyejung blushed as usual. Hyejung avoided staring at Jaehyun as she knew he was staring at her, she just continued staring at the stars.

"Hyejung?" - Jaehyun
"Yeah?" - Hyejung

Their eyes met each other, sitting close next to each other.
"I love you!" - Jaehyun

Both of them have said they liked each other a lot but it was the first time the magical 3words came up. It was natural for Hyejung to blush as she heard it from him for the first time as well but she composed herself to reply right back at it.

"I love you too!" - Hyejung, eyes still fixed on his.
"Stay with me forever!" - Jaehyun, he held her hands tightly.
"I'll stay with you forever!" - Hyejung
