37.RETURN🐝...

Late afternoon that day dadi, jhanvi and soumya were waiting for rudra's return. Rudra had asked soumu to not come to the airport to pick him stating he had some important work before heading home. So here they were in the oberoi living room waiting for rudra.

"Beep!! Beep!!" The car horned and somu got up and ran to the main door shouting "Duffer is back"

Rudra walked towards the door from the gate with his baggage and somu literally jumped on him shouting "I missed you", and she was shocked seeing everyone behind Rudra coming towards them, she stiffened in the hug and remained in the hug just like that like she had become a statue all of a sudden. 

"What happened somu" Rudra whispered, finding something weird in her behaviour all of a sudden

"Bhaiyya and bhabhi are here" she shouted all of a sudden, leaped out and ran towards them like a cheetah. Rudra found her behaviour amusing all of a sudden.

She ran to Annika and hugged her tightly shouting "Am I dreaming?", she then went to shivaay and hugged him tight "bhaiyya, I missed you so much?", she was behave like a panic stricken person and there was no doubt of it

She then broke from the hug and ran towards Pinky and shakti and hugged them tight laughing out like a maniac and crying at the same time shouting "is this for freaking real?". And then all of a sudden she started running inside the mansion like a mad person. Somu didn't notice Aadhu who was in the baby stroller at all, she had become a bit unstable mentally due to the pleasant surprise which had turned out to be an absolute shock to her. Annika, shivaay, shakti, pinky and Rudra could clearly understand soumu's state of mind, she was genuinely flabbergasted beyond a point. Soumya herself was unable to comprehend how she was behaving or why she was behaving like that.

"Come in soon naa" Rudra urged everyone pulling Pinky and shakti along, and they followed Rudra after looking at shivaay and Annika while shivaay and Annika stood outside. Shivaay's eyes started watering looking at the mansions big door. He got back all his memories in the mansion in a flash. Annika could feel what her husband was going through, she herself had started reminiscing the memories she had, had in the mansion. Annika held Shivaay's palm with both her hands as if saying him that she was here with him no matter what and that everything was gonna be alright. Shivaay nodded his head in response, squeezed annika's Palm tight, held the baby stroller with his other hand and walked into the mansion with his "whole world in both his hands". He just didn't know what Destiny or the future was holding for them,  But he pledged that he'd not let anyone harm his wife or daughter at any cost.

Here inside the mansion, Soumya dashed into the mansion shouting "THEY ARE HERE", laughing loud she was jumping like a little rabbit. Jhanvi and dadi both were confused looking at the unusually behaving somu, who was absolutely alright a little while before. 

"What happened puttar?" It was dadi who rushed to her genuinely worried, and soumya forwarded her hand, pointing towards the door. Dadi stood there rooted to the spot, she saw his younger son shakti and daughter in law pinky. Was she dreaming? She was lost? Had God finally heard her prayers finally? Was everything gonna be alright? Dadi was literally dumbstruck.

Pinky and shakti had entered their home after many days, shakti was still unsure of his decision of getting back here and was regretting it, but the sight of his mother totally undid him. She had grown old, feeble and more week. He felt ashamed of having left her all alone, he questioned himself whether he had done something wrong. Tears sprang down his eyes.

On the other hand Pinky fell empty, yes empty, the entire house looked gloomy, it no longer was their home, it was merely a building. She understood how much she had missed the mansion. She knew she had missed the oberoi mansion but then having her family and grand daughter by her side had made her completely forget this place. She felt ashamed of being selfish and her mother in law was no more the lively, happy woman anymore. She looked broken and completely devastated. She just didn't know what to do.
