(May 2, 2018) "Thank you for your concern, Ruby, but I can handle myself from here." This is Bi-color Sapphire, a slightly defective gem. She was formed with no eye, and instead, a gem in it's place - as you can imagine, this does render her sightless. But, being a sapphire, she can use future vision to her advantage. Bi-color Sapphire uses her future vision to foresee seconds into the future and envision her surroundings so she can move like any other gem. The only downside to this is that, to foresee much farther into the future, she must remain incredibly still. Now if any of you remember my old Padparadscha - yes. This idea is recycled from her. I saw her gem eye and knew I wanted to make her my new Paddy. The background of the first image is by the Crewniverse.

(May 2, 2018) And I have saved the best (in my opinion) for last. So, my other entries to the DTA have practically just been flat color, and I wanted just a little bit of shading for at least one. So, this one is basically a big shading and expression test! I tried to use more complimentary colors for the shadows and highlights, and make it look pretty cloudy, and I think it turned out alright.

Well, I'll be logging off now. It's past midnight and my family and I have to help my brother move his stuff out of his college dorm sometime this week.
