Warriors: The Hidden Truth

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(This is a sequel for my backstory, so if you wanna know more about what's going on, then look at that.) P.S. this is WAY into the beginning, and Scourge DID survive the battle with BloodClan in my version, and yes, I did tamper with the forest and lake territories.

CHAPTER 1-

"Brightkit! Brightkit? Brightkit, where are you," I heard my mother say. "Coming Darkness!" I pounced on leaves and splashed in puddles from the rain not too long ago. I recently was playing in the rocks. Not too important. I go there all the time, and I have to tell you, those rocks are warm, even in leaf-bare! I was so lost in my train of thought that I didn't even realize that I was just about to run into my mother. "Brightkit," my mother yelled sternly, "Where have you been? And why are you wet and have leaves all over you? And... Ugh, why do you smell like mouse bile?" I looked down at my feet and muttered a faint

"sorry Darkness..I-" she stopped me right there. She got sympathetic and said with soft eyes, "Brightkit, go wash up in the brook, Ok?"

Well, that was better than padding around with mouse bile on my pelt. I'd make a fool of myself in front of Darkness, and what if the strange cats showed up? Then I'll be embarrassed in front of everyone I ever knew and probably ever know.

As I got to the brook and was just about done cleaning my pelt, a black cat appeared in the distance. He was black and looked skinny. Maybe he was one of those strange cats!

So I started to sneak up on them, keeping my tail low and ears back, I creeped over to the cat. Luckily the water on my pelt kept him from knowing that I was there. I was just a fox-length away before I pounced. Springing onto his tail, I tried to get to his ears, but as a jolt of pain hit my shoulder, it sent my flying eyes closed. And right when I thought it was the worst, I hit a tree. I sighed a faint "uhh." The black tom stalked over to my limp body and was just about to make another strike when Darkness appeared. "Stop! Just stop it", she yelled. The skinny cat looked up at my mother and stared at her for a moment. Then he dipped his head respectfully. "That's enough", she said to the black tom. Then she turned to me. She sighed a mew that no cat could hear. Only the cats that I know that are dead could hear her.

" Brightkit," Darkness called to me, a little louder than before. This time I could actually hear her.

" I want you to meet someone you probably should have met a long time ago." She beckoned the lean, black cat with the white paw over to where we were standing. And then she said real slow and soft in the way I like it,

"Brightkit, this is Scourge, your father."
