I whined, clutching my side, silently hoping the pain will go away. I rubbed my side, hoping to create enough friction to make my hand a heating pad- a stupid attempt, but I'm desperate.

I woke up half an hour ago to my 'hey you're going to get your period in a few minutes, go put a tampon in before you ruin your cute underwear' alarm. Otherwise known as my period alarm I set on my phone for every month.

I don't know how I got back here, in my house. I'm assuming one of them took me home. I glanced up at my open window, giving me a full view of a dark night, and a crescent moon. I turned on my side, thinking it's a bit weird that someone jumped through my window, while carrying me, and laid me down on my bed. I pressed my lips together as another cramp hit me, and my side felt like it was being clawed at.

Whoever they were, they didn't bother to put me under the sheets, which I'm grateful for, that may have been overstepping. I'm glad I'm home though.

Since I woke up, I decided to shower to get the man smell off of me, take care of my feminine business, and change into pajamas, a random long sleeve light blue crop top and black shorts. Four in the morning isn't a typical time to shower, but I can never sleep on these nights. I'm always restless and aching in pain. Why am I a woman.

I had light cramps earlier today, but it was nothing unbearable. Just regular PMS baby cramps. These next three days are going to hurt, like they always do.

I stretched my leg out, letting it dangle outside of my comforter. I shifted in my bed a few times, trying to find a comfy position. I may as well try and get some sleep.

I don't know what happened earlier at Jim's. I zonked. Literally. It felt like I was drained of all my energy at once, and then I was dead to the world. How embarrassing.

Frustrated, I threw my blanket off me, and star-fished, trying to get comfortable. Nothing is working, everything hurts. My whole right side of my stomach, down to my knees, and my boobs are killing me. I didn't sign up for this shit.

"H-help!" Someone shouted bloody murder. My heart all but fell out of my chest. What the heck. I shook my head, there's no way I actually heard that. It's late, I'm sleep deprived, it's not real.

Sitting back, I leaned against my bed frame, shaking my head. The voice was definitely a man, who screaming in terror. It wasn't loud, probably somewhere in the forest- it's not real! I scolded myself.

A strangled cry reached my ears, and I couldn't just sit here. What if someone is hurt? Attacked my a bear, or mountain lion? I quickly got out of bed, letting my feet carry my aching body where I needed to go. Should I call 911? No, they'd ask how I heard someone so far away. It could be nothing.

I slipped on a pair of converse that were lying on my floor, and headed downstairs. This is insane, it's probably nothing, I kept telling myself. But on the other hand, someone could be hurt, those screams are filled with pure terror, unlike anything I've ever heard.
