Name: Eliphas
Age: Eighteen
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual Asexual
Species: Artificially created humanoid
Powers: Immortality, enhanced senses and telekinesis
Appearance: Eliphas is considerably tall, taller than most males, and his physique is very thin and slender as a willow; he's underweight due to eating less than the average person and he's bony. If one were to feel his abdomen, just under his chest, they'd soon realise how prominent his ribcage is and how it can be felt under his pale skin. However, touching him is a feat for he hates contact from strangers. On to facial features, he's very pale and sometimes glimmers white in harsh sunlight or moonlight. His face is thin and pointed, with exquisitely prominent cheekbones and finely carved features. His eyes are usually narrowed in his characteristic, solemn frown and are a green shade which harbours a blue tinge but can transform to gold or crimson when experiencing anger, joy or other powerful emotions. His nose is triangular and delicate, adept at scenting various odours and, peculiarly, he's able to flare his nostrils. On to his hair; it is dark brown, and is short and quite spiky. His fringe has a habit of falling across his eyes in a most mysterious and charming manner. For attire, he wears quite casual yet elegant clothing; grey trousers, a casual white shirt and black belt, a black overcoat/trenchcoat over the shirt, a long navy blue scarf and black shoes with golden buckles
Personality: It is made perfectly clear, from first encounters, that Eliphas is not a people's person. He's terribly withdrawn and can be described as antisocial, actively avoiding contact or conversation with strangers or the people he dislikes; there are many. He's a high functioning skeptic and will tend to criticise rather than compliment, unless he's in a good mood or particularly likes the thing he's currently looking at or speculating upon. Really, his criticism is just a way to cure his profound boredom, to entertain himself...and to make himself unique...because he believes that all people are different and that differences must be understood, encouraged and accepted. If you manage to become his acquaintance, Eliphas proves to be perhaps overly protective, quite quirky and extremely skilled at singing, poetry and artwork. Yes, this skeptical youth loves to sing, and his poetry has the ability to bring forth tears. However, you need to have different qualities, for Eliphas holds people to high opinions and only favours friendship upon those whom suit him and whom he genuinely likes and would want to be friends with. Incredibly intelligent, observant and analytical, Eliphas will often overthink situations and is always active for he observes all; he could even detect the movement of an ant out of the corner of his eye. He loves quizzes and intellectual puzzles, and may even ask random riddles if he's in a good mood. Yes, if illness causes him to become weary and detached from reality, Eliphas may freak out due to his much relied upon senses becoming hazy and weak; he needs his eyes and ears. He's loving over animals and those few close to him, yet can seem callous towards strangers, for he does criticise too often; he laughs at very peculiar situations, finding falling things amusing and can laugh at completely the wrong moment...which he doesn't often find too awkward. Though not overly empathetic to some people, he is sensitive in the way that he can often feel if someone is upset, irritated, angry or feeling some other emotion; and he's often right. It's similar to a sixth sense. He becomes jealous quite easily, yet will expertly hide these feelings and remain calm as ever. He's skilled at appearing collected and cool, though within he may be turmoiling with strife. With his skepticism and coldness comes his temper; he tends to avoid violence and relies more upon his words for he lacks brawn. Yes, 'sticks and stones may break bones, but words can also hurt you'...he states often. He likes justice, and will endeavour to fight for it as passionately as he will fight for his beliefs and friends. However cold and aloof towards humans and others, Eliphas really does care; his angsty attitude hides the lonely, insecure and wounded creature beneath
Skills: When lacking in muscle and brawn, Eliphas uses a mixture of wit, intelligence and magic to defeat his foes...and it often works. He has the ability to look absolutely formidable when angry, and his nails hurt if they happen to lash out at you in rage. He's quite manipulative and callous, and can act very well indeed; his appearance often gets him out of trouble if he's caught out. He writes moving poetry, draws well and sings in an angelic voice. He's also analytical, very agile and uses his powers well; he's a fast sprinter and can slip through tiny spaces due to his slender build. He's also discreet, and could get away with almost anything he does; with his charm and coyness
Flaws: He lacks social skills and brawn, thought he states that it doesn't matter tuppence. His cold and skeptical attitude often gives people the wrong impression and due to his quiet personality, he rarely gains proper friends and remains lonely. He's a terrible swimmer, suffers from an absurdly high alcohol intolerance and sometimes is able to suffer from acute panic attacks. Due to scientific issues during his creation, Eliphas's second heart is prone to severe palpitations and chest pains. Also, due to his eating habits, he's prone to losing weight quickly for he's picky concerning food...very picky
Backstory: He was created artificially by a group of scientists who wanted to prove they could create a living humanoid with two hearts and varying powers of their choice. Eliphas was created successfully yet upon the distributing of the second heart, the organ was wired haphazardly and can be prone to severe palpitations and pain. Eliphas received immortality for he can't age, enhanced senses and telekinetic powers which were all the scientists could manage or he'd malfunction not unlike a robot. However, he decided to escape for he loathed the cells and torturous experimentation. Now, he lives in the streets, fending for himself and wandering about
