In A Garden With @ _misschevious_:
Hi, so everyone of you reading out the beautiful interviews, here is one more for you. Call upon, the lovely MissChevious, from the bright sunny town of California. This girl here is a slytherian on no we need to get Harry Potter here :P Just Kidding, I am Malfoy’s lost love ;) So not talking about me lets move on to Yolanda here,
* The readers would like to know a few things about you, so just brief us with those few fun facts?
A. Ok, my name's Yolanda and I'm more or less an ordinary, crazy teenager who is a little too addicted to wattpad. I'm a dancer, though not too good of one, and I love to sing. Somehow, I made it into choir with my horrible voice. I live in California, which is pretty awesome, I'm an hour's drive from downtown LA and a hour's drive from the beach. :) What else should I say? Oh yes, I'm a slytherian too, so you better watch out...
* Aha, dancer, singer and writer. Ohh we have a triple treat here, watch out people. So what I was wondering is, Why _misschevious_? How did that username come up?
A. Actually, I think I remember seeing it some where... maybe on a Christmas present or something like that. My friends thought it was funny and it suited me so well, so I was like "fine, whatever." Turns out I chose a pretty good username. :)
* Thanks its really good to know the reason behind it. Moving on, since this magazine is about ‘on the rise’ writers, I would like to know what you think about the title and how does it feel as you climb the ladder of success?
A. Awesome. That's the answer to both questions...
* Short and Sweet, I like it :D When did you start writing? What inspired it?
A. I started writing ever since I was old enough to think. When I was six, there was this competition at my school. Whoever wrote the best story would have it acted out on stage by these people the school hired. I didn't win because my story was too long.
I always read a lot, and whenever I read a book that leaves me breathless, I automatically grab the nearest sheet of paper and jot down some ideas for a story. When I was younger, I wrote about what I wanted to be. I would create a world I wish to live in and see it on paper. Now I still do the same thing, except I actually create a plot.
* You should meet my sister, she is a lot like you :D Tell me more about your style of writing and what you like most about it?
A. Honestly, my style varies with my mood. I'm really more of a writer than a poet. Whenever I write poems, I feel like I can only write in a certain format, and it keeps me from saying what I really want to say. I can't really decide what I like about my writing. I just... write, and when I'm lucky it turns out how it should.
*Would you like to shed some light on your works so far?
A. Metallic is the book that I put all of me into. The first chapters were written when I was fairly new at writing, some parts were copied from stories I wrote in elementary school. The plot is more complicated than it should be, and the grammar is horrible, but anyone who reads it can figure out that I'm improving. Chapters 1-3 and chapters 14-16 are written in completely different styles, to the point where it seems like two totally different people wrote them.
My other book, Locked Heart, is the ordinary cliche with a little twist. The idea came in a dream.
Birch was inspired by... Trees. I wanted a completely fresh idea, and the idea of people, in this modern world living in the woods made me excited.
The 73rd Hunger Games is a team effort with all my friends. Every character is based on someone who volunteered to be in the book.
* Nice, Who is your favorite character in your novels so far and why?
A. Heather, in my book Metallic. She's based on a braver, smarter, prettier version of me. She's who I wish I could be. I'm just so jealous of her, even though I was the one who created her.
* Would you make writing a dream career or not? Give a reason as to why you say ‘yes’ or ‘no’?
A. It really depends. I can't always write when I'm not in the mood. And I don't think I can stand it if my job in life is to be stuck at my desk writing. So I honestly don't know.
* Okay so the questions from here on are really easy and basic, so I don’t think you will have to ponder on thoughts much. Which are the authors you like to read? Name some of your favorite books.
A. I can't. I love too many books, and the guilt will haunt me forever if I don't name all of them.
* What’s more important for you: characters or plot?
A. That's a bit hard. Technically, the plot is the story itself, so you need it, but if the characters are bland, I get bored. I guess the plot is more important, but the characters have to be able to carry the plot forward.
* Name one of the books on Wattpad that inspired you, written by?
A. Well the books that inspired me are by @xxwholockedxx but she closed her account, and they don't exist anymore :(
* Tell me something about your favorite Wattpad Writer?
A. @mooliooki was literally my first follower on wattpad, she's given me tons of advice, and without her, I wouldn't have had the confidence to keep going.
@S_coreal is an amazing writer, she's always been reading and voting my book (Metallic) and she writes so well, I think that she deserved every read she's earned
@everaftergirl416 she's my friend in real life, she's the kindest person in the world, and her books are better than mine. I promise.
Oh, ok, I'm sorry, you asked for one and I gave you three. These people have helped me so much, not to mention everyone else who's ever read or criticized my book. :)
*What do you do when you encounter a writer’s block?
A. I just stop writing. I could sit at my computer for a day, and get nothing but a headache. Sometimes, I go for a swim, or climb a tree and eat some ice cream. And also, I write better when it's cold outside.
*If for a day you could be someone else who would that be and why?
A. Heather, from my book Metallic. She's the exact image of who I wish I was.
* Any last words to the lovely wattpaders?
A. I like unicorns. :)
That was random, haha, anyways. I had the best time interviewing you my dear young one. Fly and let your spread :) haha okay. I am off to find my sister, she seems to have grabbed my phone while I was busy with you. Keep reading my interviews I have so many more coming for you all. Love and hugs and oh kisses too.
Rushing out, Sayonara.
