A walk with @MusicFreakMK:
Hello, my lovely Wattpaders I hope you all are enjoying the interviews I have been conducting? Well so here I have with me, is the ‘On The Rise’ author, who is known for a sarcastic humor and the short stories that always get us wondering. Put your hands together for MusicFreakMK the writer of ‘My Captivity’, ‘Victoria’ and ‘Till Eternity’ the three short stories that have got readers captivated :)
So lets begin todays interview as we walk down the busy streets of Mumbai?
* The readers would like to know a few things about you, so just brief us with those few fun facts?
A. Hey guys ! I am a sixteen year old from India who has a knack for words. A few fun facts about me-
I need minimum of 10 hour sleep daily, or else I turn into a tantrum queen
I can sleep with my eyes open
My current favorite T.V show is Pretty Little Liars
Shoes is my number one obsession. I judge people by their footwear, literally :P
I am obsessed with :P XD :/ :') :'(
* So what I was wondering is, Why MusicFreakMK? How did that username come up?
A. Well , Without music in my life, I would turn into a weird kind of freak, and I am freaky about music. And My initials are MK so there came MusicFreakMK . Makes sense ? :P
* Thanks it really does make sense and is a really good idea, good to know the reason behind it. Moving on, since this magazine is about ‘on the rise’ writers, I would like to know what you think about the title and how does it feel as you climb the ladder of success?
A.I think the "On the rise" period is the most crucial part of a writers journey. This is when they build their confidence, get a grip hold in their work and have a peek in their bright future. This is when they start feeling more good about themselves and their work and grow the most. And in the end, it is the growth of a person and their stories that matters.
* Well spoken, like a true writer. When did you start writing? What inspired it?
A.I started writing on my 16th birthday, a month after I joined wattpad. The people over here wrote amazing stuff and inspired me to pen my own thoughts. I am a really shy person who doesnt communicates her feelings to anyone , so writing helps me to vent out.
* Tell me more about your style of writing and what you like most about it?
A. I dont know much about writing styles since I know basically nothing about writing technicalities. All I can say is that I have a real wild imagination and my writing style is simply my dreams converted into words.
What I like about my style is that its simple but full of emotions. Every sentence of my story has a deeper meaning into it and I try to convey a message in every twist and turn in the story. I start every chapter with an influential quote by amazing people .
*Would you like to shed some light on your works so far?
A. Which writer will say no to that? :P
I have written 3 short stories (really short, like 3 pages) and 2 on going works so far ! they are-
My Captivity- A Short Story of a girl escaping her captivity, breaking the shackles tied on her.It is a simple story with deep message so dont overlook it !!
