As Mina let out a fit of uncontrollable sobs, Sana sat next to her, holding her with one arm and rubbing her back with the other. Momo gently wiped the tears from Mina's face and then pulled the younger into a hug.

"Minari, we're here for you," she mumbled into Mina's hair.

Sana hummed in agreement and then looked up at Momo. "Momoring get her some water please."

With a nod, Momo left the room in a blur, returning a literal split second later with a bottle of water in her hands. Mina and Sana were used to Momo's speed, so they weren't at all surprised.

Truthfully, the eldest's mutation was one of the reasons her and Sana had become as close as they were, since the pair had bonded over their abilities and had learnt to control them together.

Then they had met Mina. A small, quiet girl who always had her head hidden away in a new novel every day. At first, she had just nodded along to their conversations out of politeness, but soon enough she looked forward to their interactions with great anticipation. When Sana and Momo showed her their abilities, Mina reacted in the best way possible. In fact, she was in awe, although admittedly at first she was slightly jealous that her two best friends were different, whereas she was just the same as everyone else.

Normal.

Mina had just about calmed down and had started frantically apologising to the other two girls for waking them up for the third time of the week so far.

Sana smiled in comfort and pulled Mina to lie down again.

"Mina? I don't think the dreams are getting better." Momo whispered.

"They're not. They're getting worse." Mina let out a sigh before continuing. "But I can't get help without my parent's permission, which I don't think I can get."

She laughed suddenly, "I can't even sleep in the same house as them, let alone talk to them."

Sana nodded and placed a soft kiss on Mina's forehead. "Minari, try and sleep now. It's late."

She herself settled down with a sigh, full of concern for the younger girl. Every single day she wished a little more that her mutation could help other people, but no. She could turn invisible but what use was that? Fading from everyone's view couldn't help Mina. Sana let out a long, heavy sigh, not knowing what to do.

Hearing Sana's exhale, Mina found her two best friends' hands, giving them a small squeeze.

"I'm sorry for being such a hassle. Please don't worry too much about me. You guys should go to sleep."

Mina was surprised when she received no response, instead, the two instantly passed out, falling into a deep sleep.

"Good night."

The next few days seemed strange. At least they seemed strange to Mina because for once it was like everyone could hear her. Like everyone was listening to her.

Mina sat at the back of her Chemistry class, not really paying attention to anything the teacher was saying. That is until her own name caught her ears.
