Code #1 Story

Ok so this is how the stories are going to go. The main characters throughout all of the stories are going to be Elizabeth (a.k.a Liz) and Jack. They will have friends and other characters that will interact with them but they'll come with the different situations. However, they will also be throughout the other stories. Background Story: Liz and Jack are best friends but there's one slight problem. Liz likes Jack but he doesn't like her back. Here's how they try and work it out.

Liz was walking down the halls of 9th grade land at Frese High School looking for her best friend, Jack. She found him at his locker struggling to open his locker. She was so amazed by his looks. His perfectly messy brown hair and his gorgeous bright brown eyes were just her type. When she finally stopped staring from a far and snapped back into reality, she walked towards him to see if he needed help with his stupid locker.

"Hi, Jack," she said happily.

"Hey. This stupid locker!" Jack grunted with a frustrated look.

"Do you need some help?" Liz asked excitedly.

"No, I'm good." As Jack said that, trying to open the locker, he broke his fingernail.

"Ow!!!!" Jack screamed. You could hear that scream from a mile away.

"Oh my gosh! Jack are you ok?! I'll take you to the nurse." says Liz.

"I guess if you have to," Jack declared.

Liz giggled, "Yeah, I think I have to."

They both laugh walking together to the nurse's office.

After Jack got his finger fixed, they were on their way to their 3rd block honors world history class when she told him.

"Hey, Jack?" Liz said nervously. Her palms were sweating from the unknown idea of what he'd say to her admitting her feelings for him.

"What's up, Lizzy?" he responds. "

"Well, I have to tell you something I've been wanting to tell you for a while," she explained.

He gently grabs her arm to stop her from walking any further to class. "Is everything ok? You seem really scared," he said concerned.

"Yeah. I just need to tell you this. Look, I know you don't feel like this but I really like you. There. I said it," she confessed, scared of what the response might be.

"Oh," Jack said, confused and shocked that she has such feelings for him.

"I know you don't like me back which is ok with me. I just thought you should know. I hope this doesn't change our great friendship," she pleaded.

Jack was still confused about the whole thing and never really thought about how he felt towards Liz. "Elizabeth, I don't like you more than friends. And even if I did, I wouldn't know because I've never thought about it. Just... I don't know. I'm sorry," Jack said, saddened and upset.

He walked away from Liz and left her standing in the hall sad and wishing she never told him.

The next day...

When Liz went her daily destination to Jack's locker before 3rd block, she noticed something different. He was kissing a girl. The most popular girl in Frese High, Kate Frost. Every guy in school dreamed of even getting a glance of her, let alone date her. And yet Liz's best friend was making out with her. Jack finally realized she was standing there and stopped his pleasure session.

"Oh, Liz you-" Jack tried to say sympathetically until he was interrupted by Liz.

"Yeah, I know exactly what this is. It's your way of saying you don't want anything to do with me. Not even as a friend. I get it," she says trying not to cry.

"It's not like that!" Jack yelled to Liz.

"It's exactly like that and you know it," Kate said deviously.

"I know but still," he said softly with a nasty smirk. "Now where were we?"
