"Wanna play never have I ever?" Brittany asks ask as we both lay face up, staring at the blank ceiling in front of us. I've only played Never Have I Ever once, and it went down hill fast, but that was with a group, not with just one other person.

"Sure." I respond with slight enthusiasm. "What are the rules again?"

"So, you have five outs, each time you get an out, you drop a finger." As she explains, I can see her in my peripheral, using her hands to help her explain, "It starts out with one person saying something they've never done, and if the other person has done it, they put a finger down."

"Okay," I shift my head to look at her, and she does the same, "Who starts?"

"You start." She smiles then moves her head back to staring at the wall, as do I.

"Um, okay, never have I ever," I pause to think of something I've never done, which seems simple, but not in this circumstance, "Lived in the same city for more than four years."

"Dang," she drops her index finger, then goes on to explain in what context how she has done that, "I lived in Austin my whole life, why did you move around a lot?"

"My dad was in the military and constantly got moved around, and we followed him everywhere he went, which is why it was hard for me to make friends, since after a year I finally start making friends, then leave them." I pause and silence falls as she takes in my story, "Your turn."

"Okay, never have I ever, transferred schools." As soon as she says this, I turn to her.

"That's not fair." I laugh and drop one of my fingers.

"Okay, hold on, let me think of another." She says turning back to the ceiling.

"No, it's fine, I'm kidding, but I'm gonna get you back," I give out a little chuckle, and start to think of good one, "Oh, I got one, never have I ever dated anyone."

"Are you serious?" I nod my head to her response as we both turn towards each other, "Never?"

"Nope, I've never been in a town long enough to create a relationship with anyone." She drops her finger slowly, as her mouth is wide open from discovering my lonely life, "What time is it?"

She brings her right wrist, in which holds a small wrist watch, and figures out what time it says, "Eight-Fifteen."

"Crap." I sit up quickly, pushing the covers off of me, and standing up. Because of how unorganized I am, my clothes are still in my suitcase. In result, I run over to my suit case that sits on the ground in front of my bed, and find an outfit of clothes that would look nice together.

I pull out a pair of jeans, along with shirt that has a cactus on it and reads, "I'm on point". I run to our small dorm room bathroom where I quickly change my clothes out for the new outfit. I run to my back pack after throwing my dirty clothes back into the suit case. My back pack was packed from last night, I wanted to make sure I was ready for the morning.

"What class do you have?" Brittany asks as she sits on her bed, watching me panic trying to put everything together.

I yawn before I get a chance to answer, "Math One-Twenty-Six."

"Oh, I had took that last semester, so tell me if you need help." I stand up from tying my shoes, and smile at her as I walk towards the door.

"I will definitely let you know." I say, then open the door, making sure to close it behind me.

I run down the long hallway, to stairs that lead to lobby floor. As soon as I reach the first floor, I burst out of the lobby doors, to a grass area right in front. I make my way to the Mathematics building. At this university, each building is specialized for something different, which is nice, but can be pain depending on what your class order is.

I speed walk trying not to look suspicious, until I look at my watch reads, "8:30". I start to run since class has started, and the last thing I want to be on the first day of school is, late.

After about thirty seconds of running, I make it to the building. I bust open the door, and run about ten feet until I get to stares. As I climb the stairs, I set my foot on every other stair, making myself go twice as fast as I normally would have gone.

At the top of the staircase I make left, and run down the hallways until I reach room 203, which is the fifth door on the right. I take a breath before opening the door, and I'm glad I did.

As soon as I open the door, everyone, including the professor, look over at me and stare at me as I walk, still breathing heavily. Without looking up, I make my way to, what seems to be, the only available desk in the whole fifty person classroom, which just happens to be in the front, and center.

When I look up to see the professor, the first thing I notice is his red and green plaid button up shirt, underneath a green wool sweater. His shirts are tucked into his dark blue jeans, and the thing that surprised me the most, was that he wore converse that were dark green, it matched perfectly to his sweater.

"Here is a syllabus." The professor hands me, what seems to be, a ten page packet, in which is appropriately titled, 'Math 126 ~ Professor Robert Downey Junior Syllabus'. "As I was saying, your grade will look low, but that is only because I will be grading it as you have complete it, sound good?"

No body says anything, so I assume everyone just nods here, since that is what I do.

"Next are my office hours, Monday and Wednesday you can schedule to see me between ten in he morning to noon, and on Tuesday and Thursday you can schedule to see me from two in the afternoon to six. If those hours don't fit your schedule you can always email me schedule and appointment."

I take one final deep breath, and continue to pay attention as the professor goes over the syllabus.
