"I'm not losing this feeling for nothing and I didn't want that little situation to mess this up." He explained.

"I get it Amaru." I sighed, intertwining our fingers.

"But, if you ever lie to me or keep information from me again, we're going to have a problem." I said bending his fingers back.

"Shit." He said pulling his hands away.

"Come here." He pulled me to him, hugging me tight.

"Stop." I laughed, playfully.

"I really do apologize best friend." He said as we hugged.

"It's not okay but I accept your apology. Just please don't let it happen again." I said, stepping back.

"Alright." He nodded.

"I mean I didn't really lie to you though." He added.

"How do you figure?" I asked.

"I told you on the phone that I was doing something for our future." He smirked.

"So funny." I faked smiled.

We then stood there for a while as he stared at me.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Let's go somewhere." He insisted.

"What? We can't." I said pointing towards my house.

"Why not?" He said.

"It's Christmas, we have family inside." I laughed, reminding him.

"Oh yeah, you're right." He shook his head.

"Adventurous ass." I joked.

"How about New Years Eve?" He asked anxiously.

"Ok, where?" I asked.

"Where everyone goes for New Years Eve, New York." He smiled.

Amaru

"What are you bringing ?" Riley asked through the phone.

"I don't know. I'm just packing whatever." I said stuffing my bag.

"Mani isn't coming?" She asked.

"No, just me and you." I said to her.

"Ok." She said, smacking on something.

"Are you eating?" I asked.

"Yeah." She answered.

"What are you eating?" I asked.

"Fruit." She said.

"Is your bag packed?" I asked.
