*Lauren's P.O.V*
"Lauren, do you like Camila?" Normani's question rang through my ears,
I could feel my muscles stiffen but I shook my head quickly. "Not in the slightest. Don't get me wrong, Camila is a beautiful, wonderful human being but I don't think I could ever her like her in that way."
Normani frowned at me and studied me carefully, so I jumped into overdrive trying to defend myself.
"The kiss meant nothing. I felt safe and comfortable, she was comforting me. My emotions took over and I kissed her quickly." Normani looked at me as if she knew more than I did. "Mani, it lasted like two seconds. It meant nothing. NOTHING. Not to me, not to Camz."
"Why didn't you talk to her about it afterwards?" Normani asked.
I shrugged, "I don't know. I was embarrassed that I let that happen."
Mani laughed, "I'm sure Mila would have understood. You gotta talk to her about it."
I nodded, "I will, I just want to give it a few days to let the storm pass. I already tried to call her and Dinah answered and said Camila didn't want to talk to me."
Normani rubbed my arm and I blinked back tears. "It'll get better Laur, I know it."
I couldn't help but hope Normani was right.
