It was a day like any other: boring, dull, tiring, and a waste of time for Corrine, who thought she should be using her time productively, like learning or reading or underwater cartography, and definitely not listening to Hallanna condescendingly ask everyone in the room if they enjoyed her recent performance of "The Medley of Absolutely Everything I Can Play that is Remotely Impressive." She was also bored of listening to Davvid list random facts about fishies and other stuff she didn't pay attention to. Corrine distracted herself by talking to her best friend, Maddison. Maddison was a bass player that always listened to Corrine's extensive ranting about her "problems". Corrine was having a conversation with Maddison about what they wanted to be as adults. This made Corrine think: "Wow. What is my purpose in life? I have nothing to look forward to every day." Corrine was depressed. She was sad. Anxious. Miserable. Terribly put-out. There was no hope. Not even a little bit. Nope. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Well.. Umm.. She had an idea! An inkling of a memory from when she was very young. She would finally be happy! She immediately knew her purpose in life.
