social media ( ii )

social media is not that bad,

a change in this world is not that sad,

there's all the pros and cons,

we better be careful of who we call an icon,

i understand that it's normal to want to be like them,

sometimes, maybe even be em',

but remember to not get too obsessed,

in all the wrong ways as you'll end up in a mess,

perhaps you'll protest,

against your friends and family just to impress.

one thing for sure,

is that your posts online are never assured,

the moment anything goes online,

will never go offline,

your post might attract wide publicity,

as it spreads throughout your city,

and before you know it,

you're a viral hit.

remember what i said about Snapchat,

that it'll track you no matter where you're at,

as long as you're sharing your geographical location,

it'll show where you're stationed,

to all your friends you've added,

but what would've happened,

if a rapist, a stalker,

 or even a kidnapper,

happened to have added you,

what happens next is entirely up to you,

you see how dangerous the situation might be?

what I'm saying here,

is that to never trust everything you hear,

because online rumors are mostly false,

and it's not their fault,

to believe in each other's "maybe",

after it's been retweeted a couple million times just lately.

honesty, I'm impressed by the invention of social media,

it's like a huge online encyclopedia,

where everything is shared at,

no matter which corner of this world you're at,

it brings people from far apart,

so close to your heart,

as if they're just there,

but beware,

because social media also pulls apart,

those who are actually close to you far apart.

we tend to isolate ourselves,

from the real world just to satisfy one self,

to be succumbed into our phones,

into social media and to to visit all zones,

within just a screen.

social media really gives us a clue,

about what our friends or family are up to,

to keep us up to date,

so that we are able to relate,

when we start a conversation someday.

never underestimate the power of social media,

it might be a door of opportunity,

for your business as it brings in a wide range of community,

it'll help you reach and contact millions,

and by then you'll be making billions.
