*Door clicks open* "What are you doing?" Someone asks. I can tell that it is my older sister.

I look up, "I was almost kidnapped by the bully at my school," I explain to her.

"So over dramatic," she mumbles under her breath. I walk in. My nose is instantly pleased. The room is filled with the aroma of my favorite food, (your favorite food).

"Mmm," I hum, quietly. I walk into the kitchen, expecting to see my mom, to see my dad cooking. When did he learn how to cook?

"Have a seat," he instructs. "I have to talk with you guys." Me and my sister do as he says. He serves us each a dish. I'm getting a little worried by now, dad doesn't know how to cook and never serves us a plate. He's being extra nice and has a serious look on his face.

"W-what's going on dad?" I stammer, afraid of what he is going to tell us. I take a bite of my food.

"Eat first, you will lose your appetite if I tell you now," he tells us. It must be really bad because if I'm near food, I will never lose my appetite. (Forever mood) I finish my food in record time, my sister finished too.

"Ok, dad, what is it?" I ask, my curiosity level over 9000 by now. (It'S oVeR 9000!)

"Well, your mom and I are....are getting a divorce," our dad tells us. My draw drops 300 feet below sea level.

"WHAT!!" Me and my sister say at the same time.

"W-why?" I ask quietly.

"I-I caught your mom doing something a wife shouldn't be doing," our dad explains. I think I might know what mom was doing. She has been getting close to this guy named "Alan." We never really liked the guy.

"So, who's going to take custody of us?" I ask our dad.

"That's another thing that I need to tell you. We wont have enough money to care for both of you so, we are giving you both 500 dollars each. You guys can combine your money and live in an apartment together," our dad gives us a long speech about how we need to fend for ourselves.

"Why? Why would mom do this to our family - to us?!" I think out loud.

"I-I'm not sure, (Y/n)....I think this is the time were we start working with each-other instead of being at our throats," my sister says. We haven't had the best relationship as sisters but, I think she's right.

"Ok, when do we have to leave?" I ask our dad.

"Right after you pack your stuff," he responded. He seemed so happy...so excited that we were leaving.

"O-ok," my sister says, "let's go, (Y/n)." I follow my sister up the stairs. My sister and I pack up our things.

"Bye, dad! Do you know where mom is?" We both ask.

"No! Bye, guys!" He responds. We both walk out of the door.

"It's going to be very difficult moving in but, we'll manage," my sister says.

*One month later* 'It's been a month and we've finally sorted everything out' I think to myself.

*Ding!* I pick up my phone.

TaeTae❤️: So wen am i pickin u up?
Me: ?
TaeTae❤️: The dance?
TaeTae❤️: Dont tell me u forgot
Me: What dance?
Me: Oh! That dance
Me: When is it?
TaeTae❤️: Tomorrow?!
Me: Fuck!
Me: Pick me up at 6!
Me: Gtg! Bai!!
TaeTae❤️: K bai!
I slam my phone down on the stand. I pick it up to check if I cracked it. Phew! I didn't.

"I NEED A DRESS!" I shout.

My sister bursts in my room, "Does someone have somewhere to be?"

"Yes, I do," I respond.
