She was so scared. She was too scared to move her head so she just kept walking forward to her friends. Or at least she tried.

Taller boy stepped in front of her and she immediately stopped. She took a deep breath and tried to look less scared.

"What's up babe? Why you look so upset?" Jacob asked her.

"I-I'm n-not y-y-your...", she tried to say but she couldn't get the words out without stuttering.

"What babe? I can't hear you, would you please stop that fucking stuttering, it's really getting on my nerves", he mocked. She was so angry. For years he and Grace had bullied her for no reason, and it really started to make her mad. So she decided to end it. She calmed herself, till she wasn't scared anymore

"I'm not your babe. Stop calling me that. And oh, I don't want to see your face ever again, so stay the fuck away from me or I'll fucking end you", she almost yelled, but was able to be calm enough so teachers wouldn't hear them. Jacob was amused by her little burst. She walked away from him to get to her friends, but heard him yelling at her:

"You think you can say that to me? You know Millie, you are a slut and you and that Wolfhard boy messed up with wrong man." She stopped and turned around.

"How do you know his name? I thought that he only told you to stay away", she whispered to him.

"I know stuff, darling, and I sure know that I'm gonna ruin your both's lives." He had an evil smile on his face and that made Millie even more mad. She slapped him and this time she didn't walk back to him.

"Bitch!" he yelled after her.

"Better than being a dumb fuck", she muttered to herself and reached her friends. All three, Jaeden, Sadie and Sophia were speechless at the show their shy friend had just made. She just stood on front of them, and Jaeden hugged her tight.

"You are a motherfucking queen Millster", Sadie said and laughted in disbelief.

"Are you okay, Mills?" Sophia asked her.

"Better than ever."

Later that day

millie: you can't believe what i did today finnie

finn: well tell me

millie: i slapped jacob and told him to stay away from me or i'll end him

finn: im sorry you did what

finn: im so proud of you

millie: haha thanks

finn: usually i'd say that violence isn't the answer but hell yeah it is if it's about jacob

millie: lmao yeah today was the best day of my life

millie: or then i just ruined my life idk but slapping him felt awesome

finn: what did he do after that

millie: he called me a bitch

finn: okay slapping him really wasn't enough imma kill him now brb

millie: hey it's okay finn

finn: oh hell to the no NO ONE calls millie bobby brown bitch

finn: hey dickhead

jacob: what the fuck could you possibly want wolfhard?

millie: nice

millie: what did u say

finn: just told him some facts

millie: okay

millie: but finn

finn: yeah?

millie: i still don't understand y ur so nice to me and protect me and stuff

finn: i just think you shouldn't have to deal with shit like this

finn: no one should

millie: okay

finn: but it's getting real late

finn: i should go to sleep and so should you

millie: your right

finn: good night millie

millie: good night finn 💗

Her hands were shaking. I did that, I sent him a heart. Am I crazy? To someone other a heart wouldn't mean so much, but to Millie it took much courage. Though today she had exceeded herself in many ways. She was almost hyperventilating when Noah came to her room. She was smiling and blushing like crazy.

"What happened?" He was kind of worried, he never saw Millie that way. It was great of course to see her smiling, but he was still worried of her.

"I sent Finn a heart emoji and I think I love him", she said. Noah closed the door and jumped on her bed opposite her.

"Woah Millster, you have known him for what, two weeks?"

"Yeah well at least I like him very much and he is so kind! Sometimes I'm not even sure if he is a real person like he's so perfect", she giggled like a little girl. She was so happy for the first time in so long time. And it was all thanks to Finn Wolfhard.
