my sister, y/s/n, was helping me zip my dress up.

"girl, this zipper is stuck"

"what?!" i scream, panic filling my voice.

"you could try sear's"(if you know what this is from, i love u) she teases.

"come on, try again"

she tried pulling the zipper up, but it was caught in the fabric.

"it's literally stuck"

"ok, well, i can't go to prom with my back hanging out"

she tried pulling the fabric out more, making me hear a zipping noise.

"it worked?"

she nodded at me through the mirror.

i did a little twirl, and looked at her.

"joey is one lucky boy"

"he doesn't even like me..why am i going again?"

"to make ella jealous" she mocked joey.

i heard the doorbell ring, making me wanna scream.

i heard my mom squeal, making me and y/s/n exchange looks.

"y/n!" my mom hollered up the staircase.

"coming!"

"okay, remember, hands around his neck. leave room between you two, but not TOO much"

"i'll see you soon" i smile, hugging her.

i grabbed my wallet, and my phone.
