"No way" I bursted out laugh dropping my hands over my crossed feet, feeling the most comfortable around anybody I've ever met.
"I swear to god, she was the hardest person to ask to prom" Asher scoffed looking at his girlfriend as she continued to mock him.
"Ash, you literally brought a tank full of live lobsters thinking it was cute since I loved the ocean. They got out, hid in places for weeks and the school made us do a witch hunt. Now you're telling me why it wasn't hard?" She explained making me choke on the water I was ready to drink.
"It's the thought that matters" I quoted making Asher lean back nodding his head.
"What about you? Prom experience?" Sarah asked making me laugh nervously.
"Nothing special" I said awkwardly making their jaw drop.
"You never went to prom?" They both questioned making me quite them down.
"I never said that"
"You implied it though" They both said in sync making feel the most baffled I've ever been.
"Do you guys do that every time?" I questioned making them nod. "I didn't go to prom because I was out of town, that's it"

I looked around admiring the view, it was truly extraordinary. The sound of the waves splashing as it hit the ground and feeling the warm wind blow over with great company was all I could've ever wished for. This is truly a dream come true.
"We should get going, there's more we need to show you" Sarah said, myself watching them stand up after we paid the bill.
"Give me a second, I'll meet you in a bit" I said as I looked to my left, gazing at the view hearing the footsteps slowly fade out.
I breathed in taking all this in. I don't think it truly hit me. I don't think my brain is processing what was happening or how it was all happening. It's overwhelming but exciting at the same time. Brushing my shorts down and swinging my bag across my chest, I walked away thanking the waiter on my way out. I looked down feeling a bunch of eyes stare my way making me clutch over my bag.
I slowly breathed in, playing with the top of my fingers. What seems like a short entrance way, felt longer than it was before which was quite nerve-racking. I hurriedly walked as I felt more eyes my way making me hold my breath in feeling anxious, waking faster and faster each time, my feet making the best job as it could to leave the place. It suddenly came to a pause when I felt my chest hit a certain pause feeling warm hands being placed against both my arms.
"I'm sorry, I could've looked straight ahead" I mumbled my head looking down as I felt my heartbeat beat faster than usual.
"It's okay" A raspy voice said making me look up coming face to face with big bright brown eyes, and a beautiful smile that looked beautifully down upon me. I got feel my heart beat and race as I stared deeply in his eyes, his hair strand falling down on his face and his magical carved face was breathtaking.
"Shawn, lets go" A voice peered from behind me.
"Be careful" He smilingly looked down, dropped his hands and walked away. I stood there, my breath hitching up to my throat as I looked back, seeing he was long gone.
I shakily walked away, his name repeating inside my head the entire time when I walked out of the restaurant.
"What took so long" Asher questioned making me shrug.
"I lost my phone" I blurted, completely lying although I don't know why I had the need to lie about what happened.
Once I reached home, I dropped my body onto the bed making sure to text both Sarah and Asher for showing me around. I stared up at the glass roof that overlooked the stars making me sigh slowly closing my eyes.
All I could think about at that moment was those brown eyes, they were so mesmerizing. His name made my heart flutter and his face made my face flush into all shades of pink.
Something about him. He made me feel all sort of feelings with one short interaction. Something was definitely special about him
