JungRi: Cherry Blossoms

Start from the beginning

Jungkookie pabo.

At that time Yeri was cooped up on her blanket  writing on her notebook adding new lyrics to the ones she already wrote.

Another long night is going to pass. Her insomnia is not helping with anything either. Save for a few poetic lines here and there. Other than there's nothing. None. Nada.

A cute soft notification was heard and she stared at her phone screen for a bit.

🐰 Sae ❤
Check Twitter. Now. Ppali.

It was probably the urgency and the uncharacteristic style that Saeron texted her that she pressed for the Twitter icon immediately and was greeted by a tweet that was first to appear on her feed. On it was a black screen - a 1 minute and 39 seconds video.

Yeri wouldn't admit it to Jungkook nor to anyone else at this point, but she probably used up all the tears her eyes could produce in those moments listening to Jungkook sing.

What medicine do I have to take
For me to fall asleep?
Actually, I know but I’m a bit nervous
I don’t want to talk about my complicated problems
But I’m so tired

Take a deep breath
Until both sides of your heart get numb
Until it hurts a little
Let out your breath even more
Until you feel
like there’s nothing left inside

Wouldn’t there be a world
Where all the people who like to torture me, disappear?
Sometimes, I ran away
Sometimes, I hid
But I always knew the ending

It’s alright if you run out of breath
No one will blame you
It’s okay to make mistakes sometimes
Because anyone can do so
Although comforting by saying it’s alright
Are just words

All the lies and things I said all day
All the stupid things I did
I’m trapped in them
Can’t someone take me out?
Before the night is over?

Someone’s breath. That heavy breath
How can I see through that?
Though I can’t understand your breath
It’s alright I’ll hold you

Help, somebody help
Somebody help
Somebody help me please tonight
Somebody help
Somebody help
Somebody help me please tonight

It’s alright if you run out of breath
No one will blame you
It’s okay to make mistakes sometimes
Because anyone can do so
Although comforting by saying it’s alright
Are just words

It's alright, I'll hold you.

Barely two minutes and I'm already a wreck.

So she decided to call him then. And show him all of her vulnerability. After all he is HOME. No matter where she wanders at night, lonely, burdened and crying she comes back home.
