One Night Stand

Moving in

 "Err what are you doing here?" 

I heard a concerned fake threatening voice say from behind me, I turn and feast my eyes upon the most gorgeous girl. She was pale, wore short shorts, extra short if you ask me and a star wars jumper. She was stunning.

"Uh... t- t- this is my r- room" I stuttered out before staring straight at the ground in embarrassment 

"So you must be my room mate.. of course I'd get stuck with a boy, what's your name douche?"

"Uh.. I'm... Josh" I eventually managed to say, almost sounding as if I'd forgotten my own name.

"Well Josh, if that is your real name, I'm Alice" she said with a concerned look, a raised eyebrow before cracking a slight smile.

"Nice to meet you Alice" I say, finally reconstructing myself and coming back to reality.

"Only one of the rooms has a bed, so unless you can magically make one appear you're going to have to sleep on the sofa until you order one" she said, with a look on her face that you just knew was her trying to hold back laughter

"Why me?" I asked

"Ladies first, don't you know? Also I need my beauty sleep else I'll claw your eyes out" She laughed off

"And you don't wanna share?" I jokingly replied

"With you. I'll pass thanks" she shot back almost instantly her words so harsh but meaningless as I can't help but stare into her eyes and get lost into a world that just isn't reality.

"Well I wouldn't want to share with you either" I joked "You're a ginger" 

Her eyes shot up instantly directly into mine and you could see the killer blood thirsty look in her eyes "I. Am not. Ginger, my hair is brown, don't be an arse!" and I couldn't help but notice a hint of an Irish accent pop out of her angered tones

"Uh, excuse me what was that.. did you- did you just go Irish?" 

"Yeah.. I'm part Irish, what's your point" she said with a confused look on her face.

God as if she wasn't perfect enough.. then she had to turn around and be Irish.

"Nothing. Anyway I'm going out for a drink tonight with some friends, wanna join us? it'll be a laugh" 

"Sure" She she said "but no funny business I've got my eye on you"

We both laughed as we finished unpacking our stuff. A little while later there was a knock at the door. When I opened it there was  a girl who seemed like she was half my height.

"Big sis" she screamed in excitement as she barged past me

"Ela! It's so good to see you, where's mother?" Alice said 

"Down stairs in the lobby" the girl said

"Go back to her I'll be down in a sec, ok? Go on Ela" Alice said to her and the little girl sprinted past me and disappeared down the corridor.

"Ela?"  I asked

"My little sister, mum is overprotective, doesn't let me go anywhere without coming to check up on me with Ela" she let out a fed up sigh

"Aha, I think that's kinda cute"

"You would"

"Would I?"

"Yeah, every guy does, until they meet her"

"I look forward to meeting her then" I joked

"You wish" she laughed "You would be running and locking the doors before she could tell you her name. I'm going to go see them, do not follow me." she said

"Alright, but remember 7:30 tonight, no earlier and no later. It's gonna be fun" I shouted as she left the room.
