"Come in, come in," Joe said moving out of the door way and waving a hand for them to come in.

"My friends too?" Bev questioned.

"Of coarse." Joes spoke invitingly.

The losers all stepped through the door and looked around the house. They saw what seemed to be normal house decor. Joe led them to the kitchen were a women stood by the counter slicing carrots. The women wore black skinny jeans with a red, ruffled blouse. She had dark brown, almost black, hair. She turned around with a smile. She then spoke as she looked at Bev.

"You must be Beverly. I'm Christen." She told Bev before speaking again," and who are these lovely people u brought with u?"

"Oh, these are my friends Richie, Eddie, Bill, Stanley, Mike, and Ben." Bev told Christen as she pointed each of the losers out when she spoke their names.

"Oh, well you all seem like great kids. Would u like to stay for dinner?" She asked the losers.

"Free food? Hell yah." Richie said while Eddie hit him in the arm.

"Richie, shut up!" Bev yelled turning around to look at Richie,"I'm sorry about Richie, Christen."

"Oh, that's quite alright. You guys can sit down in the dining room bc dinner is almost ready." Christen stated with a smile.

Joe led them to the dining room. It wasn't far from the kitchen. The losers sat down at the table in silents. Bev sat next to Bill, Richie sat next to Eddie, Stanley sat next to Mike, and Ben sat on the other side of Bev. It was a pretty large table considering that Joe and Christen live by themselves. There were 8 chairs surrounding the long table.
The losers sat there contently waiting for dinner to be served. Dinner didn't take long to be served just as Christen insured. It consisted of chicken, buttered noodles, and cooked carrots. During dinner Christen briefly talked with all the losers about life back in Derry. The losers also talked among themselves as well. Dinner didn't take very long bc the losers ate fairly quickly since they hadn't had a full meal for 2 days.
Bev felt really at home there already seeing how Joe and Christen treated her and her friends. Her new parents seemed to like them all a lot and it made Bev feel extra good.

"So Beverly would u like to see where you'll be staying?," Christen asked Bev with a bit of excitement in her voice.

"Oh my god yes!" Bev said excitedly.

"Follow me." Christen said leading Bev and the losers to her new room.

They had to walk up a set of stairs down a fairly long hallway to get there. Finally when they made it to the room Christen opened the door letting the losers peer in. The room was a bigger room that consisted of a queen sized bed that had a white and yellow bed spread laid over top of it. Next to the bed sat a small, wooden table that had a silver and black table lamp on top of it. In front of the bed sat a white dresser  with a vanity mirror. On the left of the bed was a huge window that had a red cushion below it.
The walls were painted snow white. The see through curtains were held back by a white ribbon on either side. Bev was stunned by the room and by how nice Joe and Christen made it for her. No one had ever done something this nice for her before. With tears forming in her eyes, Bev turned to hug Christen as tight as she could. Now tears were streaming down her freckled face. As she hugged tighter and cried harder she somehow let out a thank u. Christen didn't know how to react so she hugged her back. Soon enough the losers joined in on the hug. They all stood there hugging for a while. Bev finally calmed down and let go of her grip. The losers also pulled away as well.
