Chapter 1~A new era in life{Part 6}

(Y/n)'s POV
"Princess, it's been 10,000 years you must eat something." Coran said. "10,000 that's like a 1,000 plus 10!" Lance exclaimed. I snorted and giggled a bit at his mistake. "That's times 10." Keith said. "Whatever drop out." Lance said while crossing his arms. "Altea must have been a wonderful place." Shiro said. "It was but now it's gone because of... Zarkon." Allura said. When I heard the name Zarkon I immediately hugged Lance's arm and in return he rubbed my back soothingly. "I remember now, I was his prisoner." Shiro said. "What, he's still alive!" Allura said. She looked down sadly and said, "That means me and Coran are the last alteans left." I heard squeaking in her pod, I walked towards it and saw little mice. I picked them up and turned around. "Looks like your not the only ones left princess!" I said. An alarm went off and the mice went to Allura and I went to Lance. A screen popped up with a weird purple furry, or something like that. "Princess Allura, gives us the blue lion or else we'll destroy Arus." The thing said. (I'm sorry if that's not what happened, I can't remember the episode) I secretly gave it the middle finger and it looked at me in disgust then disabled the call. I giggled a bit and heard muffled laughing behind me, I turned around and saw non other than Keith. "Did you see what I did?" I whispered to him. "Oh um yeah, I was gonna do the same thing but you beat me to it." He whispered back. We both got back into the conversation we were in and noticed that Allura was now on a podium. She put her hands on two poles (???) and closed her eyes. Allura opened her eyes again and a huge map of stars was brought to life. I looked around amazed, forgetting the whole stuck in space thing. "What this guy?" Lance asked as I finished up looking around. "And finally the teal lion, the lion is caring, mischievous, but at the same time very caring, the teal lion is also the closest to the blue and red lion, [wink] that's why (Y/n) will pilot the teal lion." Allura said. My lion was moved towards me, it circled around me as I giggled. Then my lion went with the other lions to guard Voltron. "Okay team, Pidge and I will go get the green lion, Lance and Hunk will go get the yellow lion, (Y/n) and Keith will go get the teal lion. I looked at Keith and smiled and he turned away blushing. 'Why is he blushing, did I do something wrong'
Time skip
"You have about 1 hour before the wormhole closes, good luck!" Coran said. 'Wait what' Our pod launched into space and we waited. "So um, Keith, I always wondered how did you get kicked out?" I asked. "Why do you think Iverson only has one eye?" Keith replied. I looked at him shocked and said, "You gotta be fucking kidding me right now." "He pissed me off and I just stabbed him in the eye." Keith said. "I've always hated him, I got detention cause I threw a lamp at him and told him to lighten the fuck up." I said. "I know, he would treat me like I was the only kid that was a trouble maker." Keith said. "I hated him cause he would always criticize me and Lance for being smart alecks." I said. "So, wait, are you and Lance a thing, I mean not that I care or anything but are you?" Keith asked quickly while blushing. "What, ew of  course not, he's my twin brother, did you not know that?" I said in disgust. "No I didn't, oh look we're here." Keith said while changing the subject. Keith landed on the planet and I looked at the surface in amazement.

We walked out and it was surprisingly warm. "Woah, it's so beautiful!" I said while looking around. "Yeah it is, but where's your lion?" I felt a wave of energy go through me and went into a certain direction. I looked at the path then I turned to Keith and said, "I think I know where, follow me." I grabbed his hand and head down a paved path. We reached a cave and saw drawings of the lion on the walls. "Bingo." I said while letting go of Keith's hand. I touched one of the drawings, then a smoke type of substance filled the room and we were transported in front of my lion. "I don't know how that happened but that was cool." Keith said. I giggled and walked to the force field and put my hand on it. 'Please let me pilot you, the universe's hope is in our hands and I don't want to let anyone else down' The force field disappeared and my lion roared. I looked at Keith and noticed that he was actually smiling for once. "Cmon, we gotta get back to the castle keef." I said. I ran in and sat down in the seat while Keith walked in. "Wait, did you just call me Keef?" He asked. "Yeah, it's a nickname." I said. "I kinda like it, thanks." Keith said. I giggled and took off, flying back to the castle. 'What's gotten into Keith, he seems nicer'
Time skip
I walked into the control room with Keith and noticed we were the first ones there. I sat down, crisscrossed, (applesauce... I'm sorry) and started to hum a tune. I closed my eyes and relaxed until I was attacked by the pigeon. "AGH," I squeaked out. I turned to Pidge with a smug expression and said, "Stop you could've made me drop my croissant." Pidge burst out laughing at me reply. Lance walked in rubbing his shoulders. I got up and rubbed his back in a comforting way. "Man you should've seen what happened back there, I felt like Hunk!" Lance said. "How do you think I feel, I am Hunk!" Hunk said. "Yeah we had a rough time too." Pidge said as I walked to Keith. "Well you could say we learned new things." I said as me and Keith looked at each other. Lance got in between us and did the little watching you motion towards Keith. Red lights went off and a screen popped up with the same ship. "Uh there's some good and bad news, the good news is the galra ship is on Arus, the bad news is we are Arus." Coran said. "There already here!" Me and Shiro exclaimed.
