Taehyung pov

"I'm telling you! If we just go to this factory here we will get all the proof we need to finally bring him down."

"No Mr. Kim! We tried everything we could, but he is just too good."

"But sir. Trust me on this one. I know If we just go there everything will be laying right in front of our feet!", Taehyung tries to explain to his boss.

"I'm sorry Taehyung but we have too give up on this investigation. I know how much this means to you, but I truly am sorry", the older man tries to explain to the younger.

"Namjoon please", I beg desperately.

Namjoon lays a hand on my shoulder.

"I am sorry Taehyung", with that the older leaves me in the hallway.

I clench my fists and stomps on the ground with frustration. I put in so much effort to finally bring the huge drug dealer down, but it was all for nothing. Namjoon is one of my oldest friends and I hoped because we had this relationship that he would help me not tell me to stop. This could be life changing! Me a hopeless detective finding the most wanted drug dealer it would shoot me through the roof! That dream has been crushed into tiny little pieces in a matter of seconds.

I spin on my heals and begin walking down the hallway that leads to the office. I open one the door at the end of the stretch and have the loud noises of people talking and hitting of keyboards banging my eardrums. Like always the office was very busy. People walking in and out of rooms holding papers that covered their faces so that they cannot see. All the desks were filled up with files on different cases which reach dangerously high. Mine was no different. I pressed myself through the storm of people to my desk in the back and sit down switching on my computer trying not to knockdown any files or paper that I have scattered around my desk.

"So how did it go? Any luck?", a voice says on the other desk in front of me. A small guy peeks behind my computer. His red hair slightly falling into his face. He glances at me with sparkling eyes that are filled with hope.

"No. None. Namjoon gave up completely on this case. If he just trusted me!", I say waving my hands around. I slam them slightly to hard on my table because of my annoyance and got some glances from the other people around me. I apologetically bow my head for the noise. I turn my head back around to the younger in front of me.

"But I'm telling you Jimin we are so close to finally figuring out who he is.", I say clenching my fists on the table.

"I know Taehyung but if Namjoon says it's over, It's over. You know we can't compete with him.", Jimin tries to explain to me giving me a soft look, but I am still frustrated about this whole thing.

"Anyway, how is your case going any luck?", I ask trying to change the topic. Jimins expression moves to a more harder look indicating that it is not going so good.

"Well, I have a lead but it is nothing for sure yet and I have to go and check it out later. Maybe you want to join? Just to get your mind on something else? I could also use the help", Jimin suggest.

"Yeah, I think that would help. So, what exactly is your case about?", I ask leaning back into my chair.

"Well it's the usual. Someone got murdered and we must find the killer. Nothing new. But the weird thing is that he wasn't killed with a weapon but instead some kind of poison or drug. So, that brings us to have no fingerprints only the poison which is taking a long time to figure out, which means we have to go asking around and apparently, he was spotted in an alleyway not to long before the death. I'm going to go check it out. Maybe we are lucky and someone knows something", Jimin explains while I grab for my tea that is standing on my desk and take a sip of my cold tea, while listening in on the case.

I lean back forward laying the now empty mug back down and say: "Well, that sounds intriguing. So where do I have to be and when?"

"Just be at the Silent train station today at eight. That's around the time he was spotted dead", Jimin says, while sorting some scattered papers into small piles.

"Yeah sure I can do that", I answer turning my head to my computer that is full of post-its. I open my e-mails and scroll through them. There is nothing special.

I still hang out at the office ether sorting stuff or cleaning just in case something comes up, but nothing does. After saying goodbye to Jimin I grab my jacket that it hanging on the chair and take my leave.

I walk down to the garage while playing music through my headphones. The cold air hitting my face. I hate that it is always hard to breath down here. I hop into my black car and start the engine. I pull out of the parking lot and drive out onto the street. I drive home while listening to the radio. You never know if something happens.

Once I finally reach my house I park my car and get out. I open the main door and walk up couple of stairs till I reach my apartment. The door creaks while I open it since this is an old house, but the rent is cheap. I lay my jacket on the couch and jump into bed while grabbing for my laptop. I check me e-mails one more time but there was still nothing. I open Netflix and waste my time watching a series till I had to leave again to meet up with Jimin.
