On My Own

Kylie's pov:

I flew for hours. I couldn't sleep.

I think we were over Virginia and Jade was getting a little tired.

We landed in a clearing. I jumped off and looked around.

Only grass and rocks but not many trees. It was cloudy out and rain started trickling down my face.

"Dam it...." I am a sun girl, daughter thing of Apollo people!!!

Jade then got scared and flew off. Oh crap.

I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, and I can't whistle for my horse, I can't whistle at all. I barely remember anything....but things were coming back to me a little.

I heard a growl behind me. Dam it.

Nico's pov:

I talked with my father and told him I was staying for a while.

I walked into my dark room, with a bed, nightstand, dresser, and a bathroom on the side.

I sighed and took out my computer. I had a video call thing. I answered, Piper.

"What do you want Piper??"

"Kylie left for the quest and she could be in trouble!!! Dude you have to go after her!!"

I rolled my eyes. "No...she will be fine."

"Nico...are you sure about that?? She left all her freaking weapons here!!"

"Why the hades would she do that??!!"

"She forgot, I guess."

In my mind, I knew I had to go.

"Please Nico...." She begged.

I sighed and looked at the screen. "Fine....where did she head to??"

"I don't know!!! Iris message her!!!"

I shut off the computer and ran into my bathroom. I turned the water on and made the stupid rainbow thing.

"O Iris....er you owe me for that quest soooo show me Kylie, daughter of Apollo, the mortal girl."

The rainbow shimmered and Kylie was frozen in front of a cyclops.

"Kylie!!!" I yelled. Screw me.

"Wha-??" She turned and the monster picked her up by the foot.

"Kylie!!! You left your weapons!!!"

"I know, you little idiot!!! Do you think I would be fighting if I-" the thing threw her around.

"SHUT UP!!!!" it growled.

She was still starring down at the message.

"Where are you??!!!" I asked her.

"Virginia...."

I sighed and ended the message.

I turned into darkest and shadows while I shadow traveled there.

I appeared in a clearing and saw Kylie 20 feet away, on the ground, bleeding. A lot.

"Oh crap....." I grabbed my sword and looked around for the beast.

"Looking for someone??" It was Kylie's voice but she was on the ground.

I turned and saw the cyclops. I swung at its leg.

He growled as it make a huge cut. I stabbed its chest and it turned to golden dust. Easy.

I took a deep breath and remembered why I was here.

I ran over to Kylie and sat her up.

She coughed and opened her eyes.

"Stupid little bi-"

"Hey!!! It would be funny to see you cuss but....er I need to talk to you."

She nodded and I carried her over to a tree. She leaned against it and stared up at me.

When I sat down, I looked at her brown eyes.

"Do you remember me??" I asked.

She didn't answer for a while.

"I read the books....i think I reread them though...."

"Things are...coming back??" I felt happy, why??!!!

"Yeah..a little at a time. Your Nico...Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades."

I smiled at the comment she made, about who I am.

"and I'm Kylie, daughter thingy of Apollo...."

"Nope...you aren't a demigod."

"Ah....I loved you in the books...sorry about your sister."

Tears and pain filled my eyes. "I-it's fine."

"I lose my little brother when he was four."

I put my arm around her. "What happened??"

She snuggled on my shoulder. "He had cancer...."

I felt water on my hand. I wiped her tears.

"Sleep...we will figure out this stupid thing tomorrow..." I whispered to her.

She smirked and started breathing lightly after a while.

Well there goes my camp cred.

I love this Nico, he turned back to sweet. Sorry!! Pretty boring at the moment!!! It will be better!!!

I'm going to the beach tomorrow so I don't think I will write.
