You ask Me

I'm asked many things

It's amazing how many subjects a person can be asked

I like to think Every time someone asks me something

 it's because of their curious self taking their place

You ask me...

Why we're friends?

We bicker over the slightest of things

Yet make up with just a look and and a quick laugh saying we we're being stupid

We like to fool around and show our concern and affection in the strangest of ways

We have the most Weirdest conversations and joke about idiotic things

Yet we're able to stay on the same wavelength

So I'd like to say we're friends through our weird and compatible personalities

You ask me...

Are you okay?

If your asking shouldn't that already tell you I'm obviously not

I mentally roll my eyes every time I'm asked this question

I don't get the point of it

I can tell whether you're concerned or just trying to look good

It's ridiculous how many people ask just to seem concerned 

but when someone speaks up they don't expect any answer other than 'yes im fine.' 

So that's my answer 'yes I'm perfectly okay'. Cause I know it's what's expected.

You ask me...

Why are you so sad? It's not like you

Uh excuse me do you actually know me?

Cause if you did

You would notice

You would notice my strange actions

Why I don't eat at lunch

Why my laugh and smile seem so fake

Or wait...have I really gotten that good at looking fake and happy?

My answer is pay attention a bit more

And you'll notice

That I didn't change

I was the same person

Just hiding behind a mask

You ask me...

What makes you smile?

Oh so you've noticed

Noticed my strange actions

That I don't eat lunch

That my laugh and smile are all a fake.

Congrats not many realize it

If you did you must observe me well

Well for figuring it out

I'll tell you the answer

I'll smile as long as you promise and to keep on smiling and laughing genuinely.

I'm asked these and endless questions

All I'm already used to

All I've come up with answers for

So don't be afraid

Ask me

Ask me and I'll give you the answer

The answer that has already been long programmed in my brain

So then...
