Some people think fate happens for a reason and I suppose I used to but it's hard when fate seems to be against you.
We'd only be home a week and already carol was at it.
"This is your fault you know!" she hissed
"What is?" I asked crossing my arms
"You know what! it's your fault he won't say a word and I can't blame him after what happened" carol said
I couldn't help but smirk. "he talks to me" I said coldly
"Bull if he won't talk to his mommy he won't talk to a gay!"
I looked at Aiden "your not his mommy, were gay! get over it" I yelled my fists curling out of anger
"What's going on?" dad asked appearing in the room
"Your darling carol is a fucking homophobe" I said
"Your son is a- he cut her off
"I know exactly what my son is, problem?" he asked
She looked at him for a while before finally speaking
"Your okay with this?" she sounded more shocked than anything
"I think if you can't then your not welcome here" he stepped behind me resting his hand on my shoulder
My mouth felt dry I hate nothing to say, they're was nothing to say he'd finally stuck up for me.
"Bye mother" Aiden croaked
"I won't go just say the word Aiden" she sobbed
"I said bye" he hissed
I moved to his side pulling him into my lap
"It's going to be okay Aiden" I whispered so only he could hear.
