Running
Trying to get there on time
I have to save her
She who is so special to me
She who is slipping away
I see her as she sees me
She smiles
She falls
I let out a howl
I run faster
She speaks
Do not forget me
I love you
Be happy for me
I scream her name
I slid to her side
The sun is rising
In the colors of her hair
Her eyes close
Her breathing slows
She fades away
I couldn’t save her
She who is so special to me
Is now gone from this world
I’ll see you again some day
As I spoke
Those words there was a horrible laugh
For being such a fool
You shall roam this world
Never to love or be loved again
Enjoy life until your death
With those parting words
That horrible laugh starts again
I don’t care if it takes to the end of time
I will see her again
Crying I realize just how naive I’d been
She is gone forever
Never to be seen again
