Put a smile on, for the world to see
No one shall know, how much you've hurt me
Time goes on and scars will fade
Things are remembered and things are lost in the sands of time
Never more shall I dwell on what once was
For now I know it never will be
Tears dry up and are saved for better things
All the world shall ever see
Is a never wavering smile from me
And it shall never know how much you have hurt me
