Once, gods walked among us. They were neighbors, soldiers , fathers, mothers, husbands and wives, just like you and me. But to lead those normal lives, they had to forfeit their immortality. Their lives were much longer, mind you. They had children, but eventually, they died. Their children lead somewhat normal lives, and had children. Those children had children and so on. But with every new generation of the gods' children, their abilities were diluted more and more. Now we have come to present day, where every so often, children will have the same genes in the same configuration, better known as reincarnation. These reincarnations have the full abilities of the gods. When the time comes, they can choose to deny their gifts and life normal lives, or they can accept and harness them. These children, are what will make history, or end it altogether.
