i was laying in my bed. I didn't have any homework so I just decided to take a chill night. my night consisted of me taking a shower, eating, and being on my phone making memes. I was making a Declan McKenna meme. I was proud of it, I admit.
I had an Instagram account for Declan McKenna and after I had just posted the meme, I went on my personal account and went to my feed where I had discovered something heartbreaking.
my friend had just posted a picture of an email from one of the teachers.
it read "I am contacting you during this time regarding one of my students named Giselle Williams by way of her mother. Her mother is very worried about her whereabouts. Giselle hasn't returned home and has been gone for hours. The mom believes she at a friend's house, however she is not sure. If you know of her whereabouts please contact me."
I had known Giselle. she was in my band class. she is a really nice and likeable person. She was almost everyone's friend. I let her borrow my phone. A lot. I trusted her with it. she was really nice.
The photo had 45 comments on it. It was almost overwhelming. people were theorizing that she may be in Georgia since some relatives live there and she was talking about it the other. I doubt she was in Georgia. other people think she was just at a friend's house. I was think that too.
However some people we're thinking of why she would run away not where. people said it was because of a recent break up with her boyfriend.
Giselle was strong so I don't believe she would do that. I came to my own conclusion that something must have happened at home.
I spent the rest of night texting my friends and being on social media. right before I went to sleep, I made sure to pray. I made sure to pray that the world can be at peace and that we could love each other. I prayed that Giselle would be safe.

hey guys as I'm writing this, this is actually still happening. it has been a bizarre past few days, but I just thought it would be interesting to share and I knew that this day would be a day that we should remember because of all of the weird things that has happened.
