there's chapter 1-3 wow i'm a legend

Start from the beginning

It was a small interaction, but it's something Lauren has been wanting to do since the first day of school. Lauren has always found Camila to be adorable, she still remembers the first time she saw her. She couldn't stop talking to her sister about her friend, Taylor didn't see what the big deal was, but either way she told her sister everything she knew about Camila.

Lauren was disappointed by the fact that it was the first and last time she had seen Camila. Apparently Taylor and Camila only had one class together, but aside from that they'd see each other in the halls since their other classes were in the same hallway.

She didn't see Camila until a year later at nail salon close by their school, and it caught her off guard. Out of all the places she happened to see her there, she couldn't help but smile at the younger girl but decided it was best not to say anything.

Now she's trying to figure out what to say to her. Lauren has been planning this since class ended yesterday, she knew that they'd only be walking today so it would be the perfect opportunity to talk to Camila. Lauren could easily walk up to her and ask her about her day, or how she's been but that doesn't seem like something she would do.

Lauren accidently slammed her locker shut, causing several other girls look at her, she quickly apologized and ran her hand through her hair as she made her way out to the hallway.

Dinah's laugh made both girls realize they weren't alone. Lauren was headed out the door, she was too busy thinking about Camila she didn't realize the younger girl was right in front of her. Both of them had the intention of rubbing their foreheads in attempt to soothe the pain from having run into each other, but when Camila lost her balance from the impact and fell back, Lauren instantly reached out to catch her.

Lauren's arm was wrapped around Camila's back, and Camila had her arms resting on Lauren's shoulders with her fingers interlocked, easily wrapping around her neck. They stared at each other in the noisy hallway, both girls only wanted to talk to each other not end up in that position but they weren't complaining.

Camila was the first to break away due to her best friend's laugh. Even though she had been staring into Lauren's eyes, she would look anywhere else but there. She was freaking out, it was completely obvious.

Lauren on the other hand was internally freaking out, her heart was racing and her entire body felt like it was on fire but she kept a smile on her face as she watched the younger girl try to speak. All Camila managed to do was open and close her mouth saying absolutely nothing.

"I save your life and that's how you thank me?" Lauren couldn't help but tease Camila, it helped ease her nerves.

"Y-yeah I um yeah. Th-thanks for um doing that, I just yeah. I'm I'm sorry for bumping into you actually." Camila sighed, as if she hadn't already embarrassed herself enough by clinging on to Lauren now she can barely speak correctly.

"Oh yeah sorry about that. I mean since I saved your life and all, you kinda owe me something."

-

"I don't know. Like I'm not trying to come off the wrong way, but high schoolers are literal idiots. As if it isn't enough that I have to spend time with them five days a week, and then see what they're doing when they aren't in school? No thank you." Camila cringed at how harsh and snobby that sounded, but she spoke the truth.

"Well that means you didn't see my tweet."

Camila started coughing, she knew she couldn't mask how she was feeling, at least not in the moment. Once she stopped coughing, more like once she decided to stop coughing she turned her attention back to Lauren who was just staring at her.
