"Do you always ask this many questions?" Lauren grabbed the sides of Camila's shoes and pushed her feet together, even though she was enjoying her time with Camila and found it incredibly cute how confused she was, she wanted to get this over with.

"W-what makes you think I ask a lot of questions?" Camila blushed and mentally slapped herself for stuttering.

"You do realize you just answered my question with another question right?"

Camila locked her phone and slid it into her book bag. She tried her hardest to keep her cool, but she was sitting on the floor next to the bathroom, nothing cool about that. There also isn't anything cool about the stupid grin on her face because Lauren Jauregui is walking in her direction and is now taking a seat next to her.

"I-um you left this. I mean you didn't leave it Jessica gave it to me, but she um told me she got it from your friend and she told me that it was yours. So um yeah thanks for the hair tie." Lauren shoved the black hair tie into Camila which she gladly took.

The way Lauren's voice shook threw Camila off, because about fifteen minutes ago when they were partnered up Lauren was the one doing all the talking with absolutely no problem.

"It's really no problem, it's just a hair tie. But thanks for giving it back." Camila smiled at Lauren, it was impossible not to.

Camila quickly looked down and started picking at her fingernails, a habit she had of doing when she was either bored or anxious, she was currently anxious.

Even though she's been dying to talk to Lauren since the moment she saw her in 7th grade, she can't think of anything to say. She's happy that they finally interacted in person, but it's a lot for her to take in, and the fact that they've both been sitting in silence for the past three minutes doesn't make her feel any better.

She sighed and decided to look up and noticed that Lauren is in the exact same position she is. Both of their heads were resting against the wall, they had their arms stretched out and their hands were just inches apart, but neither girl made any sort of attempt to talk.

Camila finally looked at Lauren and saw she was looking right back at her. Lauren bit her lower lip and couldn't help but get lost in Camila's brown eyes.

"You have really nice eyes. I know they're just brown, and well it's a common color but they're a special shade of brown. Like I don't think I've ever seen anyone with your shade of brown." Lauren smiled, she was happy that she was no longer having any sort of problem talking to Camila.

Camila on the other hand was a mess. She was internally yelling and wanted nothing more than to actually yell and run away, but she took in a deep breath that didn't go unnoticed by Lauren and smiled at her.

"Um thanks. No one has ever really complimented my eyes before. But like you've seen your eyes right? Like they're beautiful, it's like you have galaxies in your eyes or some shit." Lauren laughed at Camila's compliment, or her attempt at a compliment.

Camila watched as the girl next to her threw her head back and brought her hand up to cover her face, she only chuckled not knowing what else to do. She had already embarrassed herself and had no choice but to sit there with a flushed face.

"I'm sorry, you're just really funny. I've never had someone use the word shit after they've complimented me."

Calamari Cebolla: I've been internally yelling for the past twenty minutes dude. Dinah fucking sent me a screenshot of it, and this isn't something I'm gonna live down.

Calamari Cebolla: 'The sophomore from your tweet, are they in your class? Is that who you like?'
