Hapon na, pero para kay Dan, napaka init paren. Halos kalahating oras (ata??) na siguro syang naglalakad, una, sa loob ng hotel. Maya-maya, nasa labas na sya.

Isn't this a bit dangerous? Walking around alone, in an unfamiliar place?

Then he heard two girls talking.

AteGirl1: ....and also the amount of dogs roaming around? In my neighborhood for like every three houses there's a free roaming dog that will literally follow you around until their owner calls them.

AteGirl2: They should get their dogs leash at least right??

Dogs? naisip ni Dan. Do they mean stray dogs?

Dan: *mumbles, smiling to himself* Phil's probably gonna freak out if he see a lot of dogs. I just hope they won't bite...

Naalala nya, aren't we supposed to explore this place together? Why the heck am I alone outside with my best friend watching a tv show he won't even understand?!

So an idea came to his mind. Dali dali nyang kinuha ang cellphone nya galing sa bulsa ng fit na fit nyang pantalon.

Maybe, just maybe it was a bad idea for me to wear skinny jeans in this heat.

He sent a message to Phil.

D: where are you?

P: ...at the hotel room? Obviously?

Well okay, maybe that was a bit of a lie, but at least Phil would go outside with him right? He was the one who wanted this anyways.

'Maybe i need to go farther. It would be kinda suspicious if im too close to the hotel.' Dan thoughts.

To be honest, nag-aalala si Phil. Sa dinami dami naman ng lugar na pwedeng maligaw, sa Pilipinas pa?

Phil: *to himself* why did he even went outside alone? and he says im the stupid one.

He opens his phone, and calls Dan.

"Hmm? So you found me already?"

"Just, where are you Dan? I still can't believe you actually manage to let yourself get lost! You know we'd gonna get a tour guide right? We almost got lost the last time we went outside to eat fishballs!"

"Phil..."

"Don't you know how much you're worrying me? You know I'd blame myself if something happens to you, I was the one who wanted to visit here!"

Narinig ni Phil ang pagbuntong hininga ni Dan. Did he sounded guilty?

"Yeah, m sorry Phil. Didn't mean that. Don't be mad right now please. I'm fine promise, I was a bit exaggerating earlier. Please get me now."

Dan feels guilty. Sobra. Sana pala sinabi nalang nya na gusto nyang lumabas kasama si Phil, at gusto nyang itry kumain ng ba-lot.

'Ballot? Balut? Bahlut?? Is that even right? I just saw it on the internet and it definitely was an undeveloped fetus of a duck.'

It was kinda cheesy when Phil found him in a sidewalk, putek phil, kailangan mo ba talaga akong yakapin? As if we didn't saw each other for years? And oh god, there was some staring from some people around.

Dan: As much as I appreciated you getting worried, can we not embrace in public? We're getting a lot of weird stares here. 😂

Phil: *pulls away immediately* Oh yeah, sorry. I just thought I'd have to find a new best friend after this one 😂

Dan: Wow, that fast? Can you like, mourn for me first before you fin—

Phil: Omg look Dan! It's a dog!

Oh here it is.

Dan: Yeah i know it's a dog, but can we go back to our hotel first? I'm pretty sure we can see more dogs even if we try tomorrow...

Phil: But I think it is lost as well. :( Maybe we should look for it's owner!

Napabuntong hininga nanaman si Dan for the umpteenth time. Pag may gustong gawin si Phil, wala talagang makakapigil sa kanya.
