A portal?

You and your sister stood before your new boss, awiating his orders. Your nostrils flared up from the horrible smell of what you assumed to be Lyric's lunch/breakfast. He pulled out a tiny remote and pressed a button, causing a blue portal to appear behind him.

"Your new objective is to go through this portal and retrieve a wolf girl." Lyric said with a slight slither in his voice. "Then, you will convince her to join my army. Got it?"

"Understood." You and (S/n) said in unison. The two of you jumped into the ominous portal in search for a new recruit.

Amy pouted as she sat on Eggman's couch with her arms folded and her legs crossed. She felt like a child having being scolded by Sonic like that. How dare he tell her not to come along? She's been apart of his team since the early 90s and he had the nerve to tell her to stay with Eggman?

"No man tells me what to do." Amy gritted her teeth as she gripped the handle of her weapon with anger. "I'm successful, I'm powerful and most importantly I'm a strong female hedgehog!" She hopped off the couch and held her hammer above her head with pride.

"Hey! Keep it down in there, I'm trying to work!" Eggman yelled from another room. The pink hedgehog ignored the evil genius and promptly used her hammer to smash a hole in the wall.

"Heyyy." Qbot whined. "We just finished fixing that." The yellow square shaped robot held up his tools to emphasize his point.

"Sorry, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do." Amy shrugged before hopping through the hole in the wall.

"The boss isn't gonna like this." Qbot turned to his robot companion. "As usual, I will most likely be taking the blame." Orbot said with a frustrated sigh.

Amy sped off into the distance, her ears twitched from the faint sound of Eggman screaming about a giant hole in his wall. She followed the directions planted in her communicator all while smashing Lyric's robotic minions with grace and finesse.

After finally getting to her destination, she noticed her teammates were in the middle of a boss battle. Assuming that this was the final boss battle, Amy lounged ferociously at Lyric. She swung her hammer with all her might, unleashing all of her bottled up rage on Lyric. Her teammates looked on in shock and amazement.

"Grrrr...this is for always running away from me!" She screamed while giving Lyric a couple of blows to the head.

"....and this is for liking...(Y/n) instead of me!" SMASH! Amy's pink hammer had destroyed most of his robotic armor. She stood before the defeated Lyric with anger, for the first time he was scared. The oversized reptile wanted to escape, but Amy wasn't finished yet. She still needed to vent out more of her frustrations onto him.

Sonic quickly rushed over and stopped Amy before she got the chance to deliver the final blow. "Geez Amy, I always knew you were crazy about me, but you don't have to kill to get my attention." He said as he held her hammer in place. Amy gritted her teeth at the wisecrack, she always hated the fact that Sonic would often poke fun about her crush on him. To her it was just another reminder that she didn't have a chance with him.

The distraction gave Lyric just enough time to open up a portal for an escape. "Uh..guys? Lyrics getting away." Knuckles pointed out. Amy grabbed her hammer with enough force to throw Sonic off. She charged after Lyric, accidentally pushing him and herself into the portal.

As the two of them fell downward Amy grabbed Lyric and climbed on top him, making sure that he would land painfully while also cushioning her fall. It didn't take long before Lyric made contact with the solid ground, the painful crunch of Lyric's bones echoed as Amy climbed off of him.

"Where are we?" Amy asked as she looked around the unfamiliar yet beautiful environment. Oddly coloured plants and robotic animals roamed around aimlessly. "Must be another dimension." She told herself as she explored further into unknown territory, leaving the groaning Lyric behind.
