Rise of Lyric...again

"I'm telling you guys (y/n) and (s/n) are evil. You have to believe me." Amy pleaded.

"Amy as much as I believe in conspiracy theories, I gotta disagree with you. I mean sure they're humans but I sense good in them." Sticks said, while holding hands with knuckles.

"And please stop being all paranoid....that's kinda my thing." She added, making knuckles laugh.

"Ugh fine!" Amy growled in frustration, she spun her heel and stomped off to find the one person who would help her, leaving her two teammates staring at each other confused.

The jealous pink hedgehog gritted her teeth at the thought of you and Sonic. It just wasn't fair, she's known Sonic much longer than you. She was so close to winning over his heart, then you had show up to ruin everything.

Sighing in defeat, Amy hung her head low. What did that blue hedgehog see in a girl that wasn't even his species? You're a human and he's a mobian....it just couldn't work out, but unfortunately for the pink rodent there's no law on bygone island that says otherwise.

When Amy looked up she nearly puked out her breakfast. There sitting on a park bench was (s/n) and tails making out. The sounds of their slobbery wet kisses can be heard from a mile away, yet Amy was standing a few feet away from them.

Her eyes widen in horror as she saw their tongues wrestling each other, not caring that Amy was right there in plain view.

"Ohh Tails you're such an amazing kisser." (S/n) cooed at her fox boyfriend. "So are you my little croissant." Replied Tails in a French accent, causing (s/n) to giggle uncontrollably. Tails knew that (s/n) had a weakness for French accents, so he used it to his advantage.

Amy couldn't take it anymore, she ran as fast as she could until she reached her destination; eggman's lair!

Behind the giant door Amy could hear eggman bossing around his minions with his usual demands. Taking a deep breath she slowly reached for the doorbell. The yelling stopped and angry footsteps can be heard as they got louder and louder till they stopped at the door.

Amy gripped the handle of her hammer tightly wondering if she had gone too far asking her enemy for help.

"For the last time I don't want Girl Scout cookies!" Eggman shouted as he opened the lair door, his facial expression quickly changed from angry to annoyed after seeing who his visitor was.

"Ohhh it's just you. What do you want girl Sonic? I'm busy!" He said visibly agitated.

Amy growled, after all these years he still forgot her name! Nonetheless she maintained her composure, she was doing this for the love of her life; Sonic.

"I have a proposition for you." She said with a fake smile.

(meanwhile with you & Sonic)

The two of you were having such a great time eating chili dogs, joking around and occasionally racing each other that you didn't notice the time.

"Whoa! I gotta split! If I'm late for training Sensei will make me do the dishes!" (Sorry that's the best I could come up with) You said worriedly looking at the time on your new communicator/watch. When you got up to leave you felt your boyfriend grabbing your wrist.

"Awww, do you have to go?" Sonic pouted. "Uh yeah cuz I hate doing dishes." You answered while trying to get out his grip. That's when he pulled out his secret weapon; his cute puppy dog face, your weakness. You tried with all your might to look away but couldn't. Why does Sonic have to be so cute?!

"Fine." You muttered, knowing that you'll be doing dishes plus laundry for ditching training.

Sonic smirked at his mini victory, leaving you feeling...a little cheesed. After an hour of dating Sonic you knew that there's no point in getting mad at him, he'll just use his cuteness against you, till then you're powerless against your boyfriend.

Suddenly, both yours and Sonic's communicators started flashing, it only does that during a real emergency!

"Sonic! Are you there?! I've got some bad news!" You couldn't recognize the voice, but it sounded like an old guy. Sonic pressed a button on his communicator and answered back.

"Hey cliff, what's wrong?" "Here's a hint, an old enemy has returned!" "Lyric? But how? The gang and I defeated him months ago. How'd he-"

"I'm just as confused as you are Sonic, but we have no time to waste! Round up your team and meet me as soon as possible!" As Sonic ended the call he turned to you and smiled.

"Ready for a real adventure (y/n)?" You smiled back. "Do you even need to ask?"
