The truth

~After Chloe’s solo~

I followed Maddie into the dressing room and watched as she had her head held high, and headed for Miss Abby to give her a hug and hear how ‘great’ she was. 

“What are you doing Maddie?” Miss Abby questioned, her voice sounding a little annoyed.

“Giving you a hug Miss Abby! Didn’t you think my solo was great?” Maddie replied in her sickly, sweet, innocent voice.

“No! Now get off me!” Miss Abby said in a stern voice, while pushing Maddie off of her, 

“Maddie your solo was absolutely horrible, you fell out of all your turns and and you had no emotion on your face at all.” She sighed deeply, “Maddie I’m very disappointed in you, you’re not the same girl and dancer that we used to love. Now you are just a stuck up bully! Yes we know everything that has been going on the studio, do you really think that we are blind?” By this time Maddie had tears flowing down her cheeks like a waterfall, and Melissa’s face was as red as a tomato and she was fuming. Miss Abby turned to look at all of us, “Chloe come here,”she instructed and I quickly scooted right next to her, “And now Nia, and Zac,” they both did the same, “now Nia good on you, through all of this you have stuck right beside Chloe this whole time and never left her by herself. Holly you should be proud. Now Zac you are new on the scene and you stuck up for Chloe and to both of you we at the ALDC are very grateful for that. And for the rest of you we really don’t know, if you will stay at the ALDC or not.” After Abby finished her speech Maddie ran out of the room with tears streaming down her face followed by Gino, Kendall and Kalani. I could’t call her a cry baby because I too had tears slowly dripping down my face, I turned to Abby and gave her a massive hug. “Thank you Miss Abby!! You are the best dance teacher ever!!” I turned to Nia, “And Nia I couldn’t ask for a greater friend you have always been there for me, and you too Zac!” I gave both of them a hug, but Zac seemed to hold on for longer than usual.

“Right now that thats out, Zac and Chloe time for your duet!!” Miss Abby boomed back to her old self, instructing our Mum’s on what to do.
