chapter 4 - "just my luck"

I had no idea but I was gonna do this,'in what way do I befriend him ,Jake is a god damn killer,what if he recognizes me from one of the missions ' I took a deep breathe, calming myself down and slowly finished my coffee, I waited for him to hopefully walk down the same side I was sitting on "just my luck" I whispered as Jake started walking towards me ,he got closer so I started packing my stuff away then got up and ' accidentally ' bumping into him ,I looked up and stared at him "I'm sorry " I said looking down making sure nothing fell out of my bag ,he smiles as I look back up at him "its fine ,its my fault for not looking at where I was going " he replies.

I smiled back at him, " you have a beautiful smile" Jake said in a deep flirty voice,I stared into his light blue eyes "um...thanks " I blushed deeply. "Have we meet before?" He asked "i don't think we have" I replied with a worried voice 'Great I've blew it' I thought to myself. "Oh well then ,I'm Jake" ,"I'm Zoe " I lost how much I was worried "well Zoe let me buy u lunch later " Jake says with a gentle smile "I'd love that" I smiled back and left the cafe. 'I did it, wait is this a date?'. I thought to myself slightly confused. I walked back to the flat, opened the door and sat on the bed, I picked up my phone and called Veronica but of went straight to voice mail "hey Veronica, I've got good news. I have a date with Jake at least I think its a date ,call me when u get a chance and I'll tell you all about it " I ended the call making sure the voice mail when through

I put my hand in my pocket and I felt a small note in there ,I took it put and opened it...

Meet me at the park at
1am lunch starts then
Just bring yourself.

I kinda guessed it was from Jake 'but we didn't even touch ,how did he get that in my pocket?'. I asked myself 'wow he's sneaky...that's kinda creepy tho', I had an hour to get ready....
