Think about it from the abuse victim's POV.
- Are they being followed by their ex?
- Are they scared their ex will hurt them again?
- What kind of abuse did they receive at the hands of their ex?
- Do they have any triggers from the abuse?
- Are they depressed/suicidal?
- Can the other person help them get back to normal?
