"How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours."Wayne W. Dyer

Lightning through dark clouds was shedding light in the darkroom of J Palo's Mansion. The rain was helping to hide a stone heart man's weeping tonight. A man who was a symbol of cold, heartless, and emotionless ... tonight, the same man was sitting in his wheelchair, caressing Lidia's picture for hours. Arnav's words were reverberating in his background.

"the girl you want to claim as your daughter is the one who saw you killing her father in front of her...You were not alone in that darkness Joseph Barsiano..."

_ and he burst out in tears, "I lost your love today, Lidia.

All these years, I was searching for your daughter...our daughter, and when I found her, I thought I found you, but I was wrong. We were never meant to be together. I was a selfish man and a brutal murderer, and I put your soul to the test by throwing your child into the hell of a life. I am merciless and can't be forgiven..." J Palo cried his heart out to seek peace, but he was battling in between the wounded hands of karma which narrowed their grip around his neck...making it difficult for him to breathe...

But, the moment Sun hit his face with its rays, he raised his head, feeling a ray of shine to his heart...to his ripped soul...and he knew what he had to do...He rolled his wheelchair to the side drawers of his bed, took out Christ Symbol, and wore it around his neck after so many years. The only thing his mother ever gave him to protect...and the very next moment, he was licking the edge of an envelope to seal it ...making his soul free...burying guilt of abandons which he held for years ...

The night of despair indeed had landed in his den. Still, he was determined to bring one ray of hope among many after placing the second envelope at the top of the first one...and curled the fingers around the cross while closing his eyes, praying for Lidia's daughter to have all the happiness of this world...because today he understood his mother's words.
