The Eldorado

300 Central Park West, Between West 90th Street & West 91st Street, NewYork

May 10th,2006

Spring was in the air. Bright flowers were popping through the blooming stretched leaves. The warmth of the Sun was inciting songs of newly hatched birds singing in the trees. Parks and streets were hustling and bustling with people of all sorts of ages hanging out with friends to be ready for the day while some were still busy with their morning exercise.

Arnav was jogging with his hood on, focusing only one face in his mind. Today, after six months, he will finally meet her, see her, and talk to her. That burning night was still on his mind, as fresh as it could be. How much pain he had inflicted upon her just by his harsh words beyond imagination.

He had no idea how to face her. What to say?

_After that night, His continuous silence over a week became unbearable for her to breathe, maybe she got tired of hanging over this hope for him to come back to her, and he didn't want to hurt her more than he already had so far. She decided to come to the States and asked him to respect her decision.

~Flashbacks~

One evening after coming back from Sheesh Mahal, Akash gave him one envelope.

It was a letter. He opened it, but the realization hit him harder than he could imagine. Each word of her pierced his heart, and he let that pain out in tears because he didn't want to hold it anymore. He shed his tears which he never allowed at any moment of his life.

~Dearest Arnav,

"What can I say or ask you through this letter? You've already given me everything without asking, but you never let me say what I wanted to say from the bottom of my heart that night. I know you feel the same as I do for you, but you won't say it. Some blissful moments that we shared and did matter to me the most are enough for me to stand up on my feet today, and I am thankful to you for that.
