~•~ There's a war. We are all in war, and it's frightening. I never thought us, Malenia, would be like Earth with their World Wars but here we are. The Mooshas is what started this. They became jealous of how we live in the light, and they are stuck in eternal darkness. They became this way from bargaining with Sparkers (witches) that they wished for strength and overall resistance of our own magic. The Sparkers being on our side in turn, bewitched them where the light burns their skin. Almost as a severe sun burn that could melt their skin away. They, Mooshas, wear thick hunting clothing since where they live in damp, cold darkness.

If I were per say to stumble upon one, I would be killed on the spot. Lucky for me though I possess intensive training just like our warriors get, on my request. My little sister of sixteen, Lydia, goes by what all their other Royal females went by "Be a lady, and ladies do not train with the men." I roll my eyes at that honestly, this is a new age and there needs to be change. My name is Sophia, and I'm seventeen. By this age I should have found what we call our half, meaning my bonded, but since I haven't my parents betrothed me to our best warrior, Xander. He's a great guy of course, but he's not my half and I know he's out there so I push him away only giving him slight answers, and won't let him get to know me.
Malenia is a place of beauty, and is by the way four times the size of Earth. We are just across the galaxy over from them, but we keep our Providence a secret only coming to see their leaders. My family are called Royals, and we are the diplomats for Malenia, making new deals, technological advances mainly then mostly that's all we do. Most humans on Earth have no idea that there are secret Elites that rule them and make these deals. The leaders allow us to take a certain number of humans with us for us to run tests to see if they are capable of living on our planet. Most of course cannot, but there are a select few that can, and since we find that very interesting we keep up the projects.
*PRESENT*
"Sophia, could you go to the market and grab me some more cheese, and milk I guess I'm out" my mother, Mia, asked me.
"Of course mom, be back soon" then with that my day started.
Walking to the market can be fun, I mean on my way I see my best friend Tia, the lava princess spirt. I always take that detour because there are some months I don't even get to see my little fireball.
"Tia!" I yell for her, and her bright lava hair whips around to me in excitement. You see, Tia's body is mainly lava. Her whole insides produce lava, like humans produce cells, and with that her hair is continuous lava with her glowing gold eyes. She has a petit curvy body and dark caramel skin.
"Soph! you're here!" she yells back coming to me and hugging me for dear life. I just laugh then pull back.
"Would you like to go to the market with me?" her bright always cheery face sudden darkens and saddens.
