“ I need you to tell me about your bloodlines as that was one of the reasons she was taken.”

“I don’t know much about my bloodlines but one rare thing is that Julia shifted really early.”

“Hmm… you know that really helps but how do we find out?”

“There are some really old history and spell books in the basement so hopefully there is something there. I don’t even know why we kept them all the witches became extinct”

“That makes sense, the witches were killed by a similar group of rogues a few hundred years ago. Lets hope we find something” with that the three of us headed downstairs.

<Luke’s p.o.v.>

We walked down all the way to the basement and Johnathon, Julia’s brother, started looking for the books in the dusty, rotten old bookshelf. He pulled out a book and started dusting it and blowing off all the dirt.

“Here, this one” he said and handed me the book. I took it and examined the hard bound book with yellow pages. I opened the first page.

Mythology of the ancient witches.

Do not open the book if you are not a part of our clan.

Jeez looks like these witches were pretty lame. I turned to the next page and it had an index type thing. Seriously? An index?

I opened the werewolves and bloodlines section. I looked through the bloodlines and came across an ancient one that had Julia’s surname.

“Oh my god .. how could we not know about this” he said

The Greenwood’s ruled from 900 A.D. to 1100 A.D. They were a powerful pack and feared all over the world. The successor of the very first Alpha killed his father and took control when he was merely 14 years of age. He shifted when he was 11 years of age. The Greenwood’s slowly started perishing after the witches were attacked by a hybrid/human pack, as they had help from the witches.

 

I read through the paragraph quickly.

“That explains why she shifted so early and why they took her. The Alpha of one of the current strongest packs and a powerful female Alpha from the strongest ancient packs and a possible threat, mated, ruling together, one combined pack, it all makes perfect sense.”

Johnathon shook his head in anger and despair. I threw the book down in frustration. I could feel my wolf coming out. They are going to make Trent and Julia mate, aaaaarrghh. I shifted pushing back Johnathon hard against the wall. Snarling, I walked out of the basement and ran outside. I ran for what felt like ages and stopped by the border.

It was then I saw a beautiful chestnut shaded wolf walk by me. I inhaled her scent and was awestruck. She stopped in her tracks and turned around. Feeling the same thing I was feeling. Could it be? Now? Is it true? She shifted, standing stark naked in front of me. She was uttery breathtaking. She waked towards me and pet my head she shivered and I howled in content. I quickly shifted.

“You’re my mate” I said matter of factly. The thought now sinking in. I grinned widely and pulled her to me and buried my face into her neck.

“I’m Luke.” I said, my voice slightly muffled.

“I’m Evelynn, Evelynn Greenwood.”

Oh no. Julia. The Greenwood’s….
