No one POV
A few minutes later has them all crowded in riptides living room; Natasha, Clint and Riptide on one couch, Steve, Scott and Sam on the other; Wanda on an armchair and Bucky standing to the side, glaring.
So.... Scott began awkwardly... "how do you guys know each other?" "Well..." began Clint... "its a bit of a long story. but that's for later, right now though we have things to talk about." He said matter of factly "So I've heard" said Riptide, totally monotone, "you guys are a mess". "Hey" said Sam indignantly, it's not all our fault. "Oh, I know, said Riptide. "But I'll start with you guys". He was meet with confused silence before Steve spoke up "What exactly do you mean start with us?" He asked. "Well" said riptide "I understand the avengers have been going through.... a disagreement" "that's putting it mildly" said Sam sarcastically . "However" said riptide, "that's no excuse for you all to act like children squabbling over a toy. So we're going to the avengers tower and we're fixing your fucking issues so I can get back to my own. Questions?" No one said a word. "Fantastic" said riptide. "Wait up a sec" said Wanda. Flabbergasted "you mean right now?!?" She exclaimed "No time like the present" said riptide. "We can sort out your issues on the way there".
The awkward silence in the car was almost suffocating. Only broken by the small tapping of riptides fingers against the dashboard. Finally after what felt like years riptide spoke up: " so what was your disagreement on anyways?" He asked not so subtly. Before anyone could say any thing Bucky spoke up: "me" he said if riptide was surprised he didn't show it. " well then, care to explain?" It was phrased as a question but asked more like a demand. And so they started explaining
A/N: I'm so sorry about this chapter. If anyone was looking forward to this or if anyone reads this. It was meant to be out yesterday and twice as long. But things have been crazy and I'm visiting family with my friends so I didn't have much time to sit down and write on my own. Again I'm going to try to get the next out by Monday next week.
