Secrets

Chapter 1

The sounds of everyone chattering outside filled my ears. The fabric that seemed to hug my skin was so white that it was blinding to me. We had chosen to have the wedding sooner than later due to our lives being crazy enough as it is. I had chosen Ashley, Mabel, and Lira as my bridesmaids while Luke chose Mark, Damien, and Jason as his groomsmen. Alex was his best man and Lily was the flower girl. Today was November 29th, 2022, and the weather being perfect for a Fall wedding. The ground was littered with leaves that had fallen from the trees and I was lucky we had found a wedding dress that fit the season to come.

See, since we didn't have much to do in the last couple of months, besides trying to figure out what the writing on the wall and the picture have in common, we decided to fix the Zackarath and get her prepped for sailing. Once she was all back in order, we had set sail for Florida. We decided to pick up what we needed for the wedding as quickly as possible. Well, technically we went back to Rick's house and grabbed the only two wedding dresses there. One was the pale gold dress with the little flowers on it and the other was the wedding dress I am currently wearing.

My dress was a white dress that had this icy-blue rim around the base that stretched up the dress, but then faded away to these small little pink flower patterns as if merging winter with spring. It was sleeveless and the veil had small pink petals across it along with little icy-blue snowflakes. It all seemed to flow beautifully together. The flowers were pink and white, to represent the new beginning and our love for each other.

I heard everyone quiet down and I took a deep breath. Guess it was time to start the wedding. I stood behind Lily who stood behind Ashley, Mabel, and Lira. Lira was the first one out and then Mabel followed suite. Lily grabbed the basket of little white and pink flower petals and began to toss them as she walked out of the inner wall building. I watched her before following her.

Mabel was wearing an icy-blue dress with white framing the edge of it while Ashley wore a dark pink dress that had a light pink, rosy color framing the edge of it. Lira wore an icy-blue dress with a light pink rosy color framing the edge of it. Lily was wearing a pink rosy colored dress that faded away to white at the ends of it. They all had pink flowers and the bundle of flowers, that I was to toss towards the end of the wedding, were completely white with little pink ribbons coming off it.

I took a deep breath as I looked up from the white and pink petals across the ground to the group of people standing there watching me. My eyes widened as I saw Luke, he was wearing a black tuxedo with a blue tie that matched his eye color. I took another deep breath before standing beside Luke. He looked over at me before looking towards the only Tiger-human amongst us that we knew could marry us, Tyler Hawkies.

"Luke Patrick, do you take April Springs as your lawfully wedded wife until death do you part?" Tyler asked Luke as he looked at Tyler.

"I do." Luke said as he looked at me with a smile.

"April Springs, do you take Luke Patrick as your lawfully wedded husband until death do you part?" Tyler asked me as I looked at Tyler.

"I do." I replied as I looked at Luke with a smile.

"You may kiss the bride." Tyler said as Luke kissed me quickly. "I give you Mr. Luke Patrick and Mrs. April Patrick."

Luke wrapped his arm around me as I leaned my head against his shoulder. We were now husband and wife, one of the strongest bonds in life. I was smiling and blushing as everyone came over to congratulate us. It was weird to feel this over joyfulness in a situation like the one we were in. We still had vampires and witches lurking about the island.

Riley and Jason had performed a surgery on everyone who had been brought back by the witches to place the glowing pearls into their bodies to bring them completely back. Samantha, who had listened to Riley and Jason, helped them perform a few surgeries so that she could perform it on Riley with Jason's help.
