"Mommy, where are we going?" 5 year old Roxanne asked from the back seat of her mother's car. "We are going for a trip to an orphanage to meet children." Her mother answered shakingly. The truth was Roxanne's stepfather didn't love her and only saw her as an obstacle between him and her mother. He threatened Roxanne's mother leaving her no choice but to give up Roxanne. Roxanne, being too innocent to realise what was going on, asked "Can I play with them?". "Of course you can Roxy." Her mother answered. "YAY!! yelled Roxanne.

"Alright sweetheart go play with the others." Said Roxanne's mother. "Okay mommy!" And with that Roxanne took off. While playing, Roxanne was oblivious to what her mother was doing , signing papers to give Roxanne up to adoption. After some time of watching Roxanne play she walked out of the orphanage with a heavy heart. After a few hours of playing she left the group to find her mother. "Mommy?" She went to one of the caretakers to ask about her mother. "Love. Your mother is gone. She gave you up to he orphanage because she couldn't take care of you. I'm sorry Roxanne." The caretaker answered softly. "Mommy doesn't love me anymore?" Roxanne asked with tears in her eyes. The caretaker apologised again and showed Roxanne her room which was shared with 2 other girls. As soon as the caretaker left the girls walked up to her. "Looky what we have here. A little wuss." "Yeah. A little wuss." Both the girls cornered Roxanne. "Please don't hurt me..." She pleaded just before being picked up by the collar."Listen here wuss. I rule this place. Everyone listens to me. Disobey and watch what happens. Got it." The tall girl said. Roxanne nodded her head vigorously afraid of might happen and got dropped to the ground. "Goodnight." Said the tall girl faking happiness. Roxanne cried her self to sleep that night
